I didnt see the 2nd half, but nate and balkman in the first half did nothing. The only play of the first half Balkman was involved in was having a ball basically bounce off his head for and 1. Nate was out of control again. I wanted to compare and contrast Admunson[a guy who has similar characteristics to Balkman and he showed[atleast to me] much much more of the scrappy type effective play--showed good rebounding and a nice dribble drive a lot of hustle. From reading the boxscore it appeasr as if Admunson and Artest barely played in the 2nd half. There is no way Admunson is not drafted and balkman is 20--thats the whole gig--because from where i was wathcing Balkman was a non-factor in that first half--seemed scare to shoot, apprehensive and nothing on the D--yet Admunson was all over the place making plays.
so Admunson plays 27 out of 40 minutes and he must not have played the second half, huh? Briggs, you're letting this get to you. Balkman took over the game down the stretch. He's a different player than Marcus, but to say you have any idea what Balkman's ceiling is... that's just not true. You hated on Frye last year because we skipped the Uconn product to take him and Frye turned out just fine. Let's give Balkman a chance - he's been doing well so far.
