Great news. I always wonder, does the way you react to the vaccine have any link to how severely you would have reacted to covid?

I read that the more robust your immune system is, the more likely you are to get really sick. The younger you are, the sicker you’ll probably get. I know a lot of older people that said they felt nothing. My question is “is the vaccine as effective if you never had side effects?”

I was also wondering about people who don't get side effects. I did a little research and this is what health experts said about this issue.

Zero reaction to the first shot other than a sore shoulder for a couple of days. Hope that means any reaction to the 2nd shot this weekend will be at the most very mild.

I had a feeling more frequent booster shots would be required at least in the short term when the much lower efficiency numbers came out vs the variants. The quicker more people can get vaccinated the quicker we can put these variants behind us and really beat this virus.

That's why we need the vaccine patents sharing globally, we need mass global vaccinations to save lives and cut the risk of mutations

They say the more mutations, the weaker they get.... or something to that effect.

No, the hope is that the virus gets weaker with mutations (after all, on an evolutionary basis virus's fare better if they don't kill their host), but that's not guaranteed, and from the looks of Brazil and India the opposite can happen. So far the variant first identified in the UK is much more transmittable (which makes it more deadly as it overwhelms countries quicker, then the ones raging through Brazil appear to make re-infection more likely and seem to be more dangerous for younger people (and some indications it may impact pregnant women and babies more).

Have you had covid before this? If not, it’s impossible for your body to think it has covid. It’s simply fighting off the spike proteins found on covid. It’s pretty fascinating technology.
