Did LIn control the pace and set up his teammates?
Lin had 9 pts and shot 30% from the field. When Felts puts up those numbers he gets killed....
How many shots?
Exactly. I can live with the occasional 3-10 but not 3-20! I didn't see the game and wonder how Lin is doing with the pace...
Lin has had a bunch of 1-8's, 2-10's, 2-8's, 1-9's etc....It has been way more than occasional.
...but he controlled the pace and should've had 20 assists but his teammates always miss dunks and layups!
You guys like to look at stats....check it out. Acting like a child on posts is really disheartening. I never complain here in the UK but once in awhile I will make it known. I like the argument and UK has been one of the classiest forums around. But these kind of posts really is childish. You want to prove me wrong? Watch the games with an open mind instead of having an agenda and just pile on the kid just to prove that what you have now is better.
Lin had 5-6 games of 1-8s, 2-10s etc. His FG% is .432 for the year. His 3PtFG% is an atrocious .272. The Rockets telecast mentioned that in the month of December his FG% in 2PT range is a ridiculous .700 while his 3ptFG% was an abysmal .012. Yeah, he needs to work on that.
Felton's FG% for the year is .396. 3PT FG% .353. Felton was playing really well in the beginning and now has tailed off. Shit happens. He just needs to know his role and the Knicks will be fine. Setup his teammates and move the damn ball when need be. Having sticky fingers is not good for a PG.
I calls it like I see it. Felton at $4mill/year is putting up comparable to better numbers than Lin at$8mill/year. and has helped steer his team to more wins.
Both are inconsistent, but for the price and production Felton fits this team better. Lin needs a certain system to thrive, or you'll get those 1-8 and 2-10 park your ass at the 3 pt line games. Felton, before the recent stumbles, had worked in unison with Kidd beautifully, before he decided to continue to play through injury.
Not sure if you guy's remember the San Antonio comeback or the Melo-less Heat blowout in Miami. That's what Felton can bring once healthy. Does he shoot too much sometimes, sure, but that's on Woodson to reel him in or check him if he's not 100%.
Calling me a child or childish doesn't phase me one bit. That's your opinion and I respect that. Getting defensive over a guy not even on the Knicks team does though. Knicks didn't match, cry me a river. In my eyes he's not that big of a deal. The guy is a good player, I don't dispute that. Is he all star caliber or even 2nd tier. NO WAY. Lin is way overrated to some of you guys. The way you guys react is like if we had just let Kyrie Irving or Damian Lillard go. Comedy.
