Our summer league team has random 5 guys at the gym energy.

Yeah, but Kolek has some experience. He should be able to organize them better. He looked much better in last year's summer league.

I think its the teams who are skating through SL who dont need these games. Its the teams which are struggling that do. Looks like us right now. The more competition, the better.

Just joking... Kinda. Huk hasn't been bad, but he's a big who relies on guard play to score. Dadiet showed some flashes. McCullar has been meh, tho he's rebounded a bit this game. Dia has been intriguing. Everyone else looks bad. Huk has been the only guy I can see on a NBA bench.

Bad Summer League from the key youngsters so far. Well, Dadiet looked fine in Game 1, but not so much in Game 2. Kolek has mostly disappointed so far, but this last game was pretty bad. Huk has been ok.

Yep, it’s Summer League, but especially regarding Kolek, it’s been kinda disappointing.

We arent that far removed from last season, and our rooks got the fewest minutes in the league. Its a bit too optimistic to expect them to level up so soon. They need minutes.

If he played him in the Indiana series, we would have won states! No doubt in my mind. No doubt.

Kolek like many other youngins will learn that to make it in the NBA, one must be aggressive and shoot at a high click. On Thibs team, you must also have some length and play good defense. Kolek had neither. Not saying he will be a bust but, at his height, shooting needs to be elite .

It's a tough ass business being a pro player.
Kolek got minutes.
Players don't get to play thru it unless they are tanking and in full rebuild.
Knox and Frank had the minutes and were super young. Both were 18.
Sometimes minutes help, sometimes they expose.

To be fair, we don't know what Kolek was tasked with so maybe this was about "Do XXXX, don't worry about results, get thru it and we'll fix it this summer".
Or.......
"This is your chance, this what we need to see from you...."
And he didn't.

I not saying he gets cut so fast, but new coach. If Brown want these guys playing fast, did Kolek try to up the speed? The kid sees the floor well in transition and is a good playmaker. But if he can't hit shots he won't stick.

Diawara might be better to have on the team than Nnaji?
