An added bonus is that he was selected with the NY Knicks 19th pick in 2021 and traded to the Hornets. I think the Lakers checked in on his availability not to long ago and he was not ready to return to the NBA or the Lakers weren't that interested, dunno what happened there. I'm not advocating, just saying this kid is out there and was a Knick for like 5 minutes
So what whackadoodle personality defect did he demonstrate that he got freaking waived on?
I mean you gotta really try hard to get waived this early in a career on a guaranteed deal.
If he could not cut in Charlotte, what will Knicks under Thibs feel like for him?
That was our pick they used in 2021, correct?
Again what would the harm be taking Kai waiving Ryan, Windler, or Jeffries ?
None for this fan. I asked a question and you replied with another?
If you want to pretend to be a FO type, what was up with Kai that got him bounced from a **** team and how does he fit with us? You know, Thibs likes guys that work hard and mentally tough and can take the riding he gives them.
As for fondness for Tari Eason who is clearly on your mind, can you tell us why he is expendable with his team currently and their depth, and what can we offer that makes it worth their while?
I stated my opinion the Knicks could take a flier on someone. If not Kai then why not Bol Bol or Garuba for the vet min... Knicks talk themselves out of low risk moves. Have ignored depth at the wing and PF spot but sign Windler, Ryan, and Jeffries. Help me make sense of this... They talk themselves out of moves why what's going on in the front office do they need 100 percent agreement amongst the members of the brain trust ? Does no one want to be blamed for a mistake ? Lakers signed Cam and Christian Wood on vet contracts while having AD, Lebron, Rui, Vanderbilt, and Prince in their front court already. And they are even utilizing them. While our team won't trade, won't take chances on any forward when we are weak depth wise there.
You are wondering why the Knicks wouldn't take a flier on the likes of Cam Reddish?
You are just throwing names out there?
That's very selective of you. 😆 Obviously my point was not Cam Reddish and you know it. The context of my post is clear. On balance front office has done a great job. Yet, they aren't infallible. Earlier you told me during the preseason how important the salary cap was why they didn't make trades. But they could have acquired players without damaging the cap situation. Then you made a point that chemistry matters, but surely not every potential low risk pick up can be a bad fit, right...Not for the expense of having Ryan A, Jeffries, or Windler on the squad with no depth at ghe forward spot. Had we had depth I assert we could have won 2-4 more games so far
Cam Reddish is your choice.
Christian Woods is your choice.
Those are flat awful choices. It's why your barbershop talk is flat.
You can't sit there and wonder why the Knicks have not made moves that you yourself don't even believe in. It's silly talk.
14th and 15th guys on the bench do not win yup 2-4 more games. That is silly.
There is some reasonableness to making hypothetical trades and whatnot, you are not close to it.
