Dion Sanders was a phenom who had that rare ability to exceed in two sports with a ton of Bravado.
I think Shedeur fall also has to be on his handlers who coached him thru interviews and prepped him.
While Giants are in need of a star and non are bigger than when its the QB its a big risk for the face of the franchise and Sanders perhaps is not a sure fire bonafide star given what scouts deem as deficiencies.
Was that Collusion on behalf of the owners as some are suspecting? If so, Why?
Is Deon seem as a problem dad who could undermine his coach and seek the job himself?
Was Deon not being on track to be an NFL head coach? Or at least on his mind? At some price, he drops enough and the risk is minimum.
Im not an NFL super fan and im taking a stab at all this.
Giants perhaps by ownership decree seem to shy away from the starphuch and all that comes with it. Glad they stayed away from Aaron Rogers who even outside his politics is a bit of an ass.
No doubt Eli Manning was not perfect but he rose big when the moment called for it twice and was a great face for the franchise. As as Phil Simms. IM not saying its a total blue print but seemed they wanted Daniel Jones to be that guy. He was, but not enough on the field.
For all the Giants misses, they still have enough success in there history to maintain great fan support. They have the Jets for contrast to see what a real dumpster fire looks like.
Giants should play in Manhattan and Jets should be back in Queens or on Long Island. Then things will be right!
