Dallas last again. This is ridiculous. Unless Chicago starts losing, Dallas is likely to fall to pick 10. Then we would have to hope that a team in picks 11-14 moves up, which almost never happens. That pick 11 was looking great for us. The Mavs are not even trying to lose. They just suck. No defense and no offensive continuity.

their remaining schedule is middle of the road. Of course this probably was one of their easy games.

How many more years before this conveys as a second? 2025. Hope they don't resign Kyrie.

He didn’t, but few really care about facts anymore.

Opinoin: If Kyrie leaves Dallas is really phuched. They almost have to trade Luka. Fans getting frustrated with his whiney act? This has to be addressed by him at some point. Dallas can sell a Randle trade as he scores, is from dallas, and an allster. Few team can give them a package like ours.

If Suns want to move Ayton, Mitch can be key there also. PHX is in win now mode. Dallas would be “stay respectable but retool”. The pick could matter.
Im sure there is a world were RJ goes in a trade to Suns or Dallas as well.
Core of Luka, Brunson and Ayton is pretty good. No doubt the IQ, Grimes and Deuce feel good trio would be broken up.
One stays and starts. Two might be in a trade.

The Poorzingis trade seems so long ago, i can no longer remember the protections of the dallas pick, what happens if this pick doesnt convey this draft? Will it loss its protection next year or will it turn into 2 second rounds next year?

Its not just Dallas trying to keep him, its also about they are running out of assets to improve via trade and draft is a long timeline for them now.
Tank is logical but why do the Kyrie trade? They should have cap space but not substantial.
This team made conf. Finals last year.
How much of his is on Kidd? Clearly they are not listening to him.
Losing Brunson hurt no doubt, but there are other things.
Its not just about Luka, its about a franchise that needs assets and a reboot of sorts IF Kyrie leaves.
Losing as they are actually helps him contract wise. In Kyrie fashion, he’ll resign with Dallas then seek a trade down the road. Dallas at least gets assets in return. Its something.
Luka is great, but Knicks can’t deplete themselves. Otherwise we have a whiney plump superstar a bit older and we going now where. We in good spot. How? I don’t know. Randle is flawed, but an allstar. Its where you start. If the pick conveys to us, that would help a lot.
