Rubio is a better fit. BJ kind of shows how much of a difference it can make when a PG is looking to pass and make plays. The ball and player movement improves. We've got to improve incrementally and build properly. This necessarily about quick fixes at this point. Rubio fits and depending on the new talent added in the draft you can see a better roster being built with Smarter, Team Oriented players. That's how we change the culture of this team.

i'm kind of in this camp. I am not a Rubio fan but moving Rose is addition by subtraction.

And why is everyone assuming Rubio? Sounds plausible for sure; but I haven't seen any names and am wondering if it perhaps involves other assets, such as a second round pick

He does not have to be a banger down low, but needs to be able to punish smaller players who cover him, and to have some automatic moves in the post if he gets quick position down low (Beating his opponent down the court for position, or maybe using another teammate's pick.)

He did develop a bank shot, but seems to have used it inconsistently since earlier in the year.

I just believe that somebody has to talk to him. Maybe working out with Dirk can help him, but he has to do some thinking about his game.

I actually think KP is one of those guys that isn't a fast developing guy. He doesn't have to be big. Just stronger like KG or Dirk. Neither of them was really thick at any point. KP should come back stronger next year.

KP does have Post moves but needs to refine and master a go to move. He's on his way from what I've seen but more work and maturing physically will help.

More than anything getting more QUALITY touches is the most important thing. Once we get rid of Rose and Melo the development process can get into full swing. Most important is better PG play to get him better looks. IMO there's really nothing wrong with KP that a good PG wouldn't solve.

KP is clueless of the low post plus KP need a scoring big-man coach to tutor his timing in the low post.
Rambis has not did anything to help KP learn how to defend the paint or box-out the paint

Putting on muscle doesn't mean he had to gain 20 pounds.... that extra weight takes a toll on the body too. Especially to put it on in one off season. He would lose his athleticism. That's one of his biggest traits. He's still a kid. His muscles will mature in time. Besides he's playing basketball not trying to win the Olympia.

That's only like 10 lbs since he started the season at 240lbs. I think people are hoping for a Anthony Davis or Giannis type growth but that's not going to happen with KP. His will probably be slower since he has stopped growing but he needs to probably start the year heavier because it seems like he loses a lot of weight and strength as the season goes on.

Does take time, agree, but he did put on weight and muscle leading up to his rookie season. For this season I saw nothing.

He does not have the kind of frame that Willy has...he is never going to be muscular, but either he and/or the Knicks decided he did not have to put on weight and muscle, and either he and/or the Knicks decided that he should work more on his SF game than his big man game.

Just wanted to see him address his greatest weaknesses, and though he's improved overall, he still seems clueless and off-balance down low at times.

I think the point was that despite trading for Rose if it happens. They have not given up on Dunn.
