Since Superfriending like Miami is a rare occurrence and not viable method anymore (See Free Agency 2015, all the teams with cap room like Lakers, Mavs, and Knicks got dissed), why not build through the draft and signing young vets with movable contracts and still have flexibility going forward.
Pretty apparent the latter is what's occurring with or without Melo in the fold.
Woodson isn't the coach for a young squad like this, let Fisher take his lumps and grow into the role, since we're in full rebuild mode.
