Why? We already have Prigioni and Hardaway Jr. Shump can also play some point, we need another guy on the wing.

We need a PG that can constantly break down the D. That was why we were mainly a shooting team. No one could constantly break down the D and get to the hoop.

How did Morey trade this Skitzo? Seriously I go back and forth between this guy and Masai as doing things no other GMs can do.

Don't you think we have more of a need on the wing though? We need a guy who can score or defend. I rather sign Francisco Garcia or Stephen Jackson. We'll be mainly a shooting this team as well, Will Bynum isn't changing that.

I'll say one thing losing Cope makes the barg trade a little easier to swallow.

Makes it harder since Copeland signed for 2yrs and $17mil less than Bargs. Bargs has a trade kicker which means he's pretty much here to stay.

New Golden State 5

Curry
Iguodala
Bogut
Thompson
Lee

Barnes and even Green are nice bench players. Presumably, GS needs another big or two.

if Bogut is healthy and Ezili takes a step forward that is a very good team. They have shooters to help Iggy perform better. He will not be relied upon to shoot but his ball handling and defense will be needed. It takes Thompson off of tbe best player.

I think Ezili is out until January so iffy for this year. They ware going to need another big body or two. Also, I suspect Bogut will be running on limited minutes, even if he's mostly healthy. Still a nice team with no more immediate moves.

he wants a chance to win, denver doesnt provide that with all the confusion and changes going on.

They weren't going to get Barnes or Thompson for Iggy and they didn't want to do Iggy any favors of receiving the higher dollars and % leaving them for a rival team less offer.

Good for Kroenke if he can land Monta Ellis for cheaper, which is the current rumor.

Oh come on man- the era of blind Nuggets praise on these boards is over, everyone can see it.

They could have gotten a draft pick or two by trading Iggy, instead they got nothing. That is not a good or smart move. And now after listening to nuggt fans complaining about Melo being a chucker all season, and how its all about ball movement and unselfish players, you turn around and make out signing Monta 'have it all' Ellis is a good thing! He is cut from the same cloth as Melo, except not as smart.

Denvers offseason has been a disaster- they are done.

Can't believe it- same kind of thing happened last year. Seems like players on Millsap's level are the ones that get screwed under this cba.

Tyson for Asik and Lin would cure a lot of problems

Tyson for Asik and Lin would be interesting. Asik isn't at Chandler's level right now but he might get there in a year or two. Lin would be an excellent backup PG, IMO. Do the salaries work?

I hope Delfino would take a similar deal with NY but I doubt it. Garcia is pretty good. Doesn't shoot as many threes as Carlos but probably defends better.
