saying someone is mediocre or sub-par when it comes to the playoffs when the record backs that up is not bashing-- it's merely stating a fact. saying someone is mediocre-- average-- is not an insult. if you want to do above average in the regular season we have the perfect coach and main guy for that.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

I dont give a rats ass whether Denver wins jack **** or not. I objected to the almost celebration like atmosphere that broke out when a very respectable coach got fired. And yes all the celebrating was done by those tgat suspend reality to live in their own belief bubble. In other news, Wilbon and Kornheiser just agreed tgat Karl is not a good coah he is a GREAT coach.

George Karl excels at regular season coaching - gets a tremendous amount out of average-very good players. I think his teams always have better records than you would think based on talent.

I would never have pegged this season's Nuggets team to win 57 wins, let alone 50, led mostly by the "very goodness" of Gallo/Lawson/Faried.

He made it to the finals once with Seattle (with Payton & Kemp), but I believe he also coached the first top seed to be ousted in the 1st round (also with Payton & Kemp).

Ryan Ruocco this morning on Mike and Mike was talking about the Karl firing. He said, 'sometimes I just don't understand why a guy gets fired in the nba. Like Mike Woodson in Atlanta, was he really supposed to get that roster beyond the second round? Karl and the Nuggets were expected to get beyond the first round this year. Last year maybe not?' His comparison of the two was out of the blue in a conversation about Karl's firing and nba coaches in general being fired this offseason.
