I do have to say, watching Felton playing, he plays his heart out and never gives up even to the end when there's no hope coming back from defeat. He clearly has a chip on his shoulder and he proved so far he's worth coming back. I don't have anything bad to say about this guy anymore. He's a solid guard for us now. Hopefully he can continue like this til the end.

Felton has been amazing. The combo of Kidd and Felton in the back court has led to great success for the Knicks. I still can't believe Felton just began working out with weights last summer. The guy is a tank. Its great to have heady point guard play on both ends of the floor. Felton is thriving and so are the Knicks.

All of a sudden Raymond and Tyson started clicking in Dallas. Tyson is more limited offensively than Chris Dudley and Eric Chenowith combined - yet here he was, pouring in points like Amare, from point blank range. The same chemistry in the pick and roll that Felton discovered in his first tour of NY, was back again. This time, with feeling.

Once Tyson is a consistent 12-16 point contributor, the Knicks become impossible to defend.

Feed the big man.

VCoug - So far, Felton is what I thought he was. A mediocre shoot first point guard who can't shoot, the worst starting pg in the division, and a guy who's going to start losing us games if he doesn't stop shooting the ball so much.

"it hurt, whatever... but I'm not coming out"

Felton is nowhere near as sexy as "you know who", but Raymond Felton's down home, tell it like it is, rugged, country boy, South Carolina style deserves a standing ovation... or at least a gold star.

The population of Latta, South Carolina is 1,379. That is about the number of people on one NYC Subway train. The season before he came to New York from Portland, one could tell that the big city had him excited. He responded with some of the best play of his pro career. He was deeply hurt when he was traded to Denver and he was not ashamed to show it. The hurt lasted for more than a year.

The second chance is the perfect opportunity to prove once again that he belongs in the city. Hence the self-described "chip" on his shoulder. A small town boy in the big city, surrounded by skeptics and following the contrail of a comet.

When you come all the way from Latta, SC, he only way to prove you belong is to work your azz off, without the bandage on our hand.

Felton is going to make Amare look great. Can't wait till he and Shump return. Hope Shump returns to form and takes Brewers starting spot. Brewer is a good defender but, has ZERO explosiveness going to the bucket. Actually, he seems to be a liability when taking it to the bucket.
the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Anyone else find it interesting how Felton is a much better player as Knick then anywhere else. I hope they dont do something foolish with him again.

He loved playing here the first time and was great then also. He was actually playing very well under Larry in Cha also. I think that bad stint in Portland was more a one off then anything else. Worked great for us as we got him back at a discount.

The thing that killed the MElo trade for me above all else was trading our 26 year old PG for a 36 year old one. That was brutal. I loved Felton and his bulldog style of play. Glad he's back. Playing like a top 5 pick again

Felton is very good. Glad to see him back, motivated and playing well. He has learned to play with Chandler and Melo already. We know he can play with STAT. This team when all together will be very tough to defend.

The cool thing about last night was the decision to run and attack. Felton will never be confused with Russell Westbrook, however his ability to push the ball when directed puts pressure on any defense. All three of our guards can finish at the rim in traffic. Images of Shandon Anderson bricking layup after layup start to vanish. That is not Mike Bibby shooting from outside.

You get the impression these guys enjoy playing together?

If we are to have continual success against Miami in the playoffs then Felton has to continue to treat Chamlers and Cole like they don't belong on the court with him.

It's the opposite of the old Knick curse where they'd come here and stink up the joint.
I think our karma has finally turned around.
We still have to work on that injury bug though.

The moment Amar'e returns, Tyson Chandler will turn his ankle. Shump healing up? JR will land awkwardly on his elbow again.

Marcus Camby will reinjure himslf eating a bowl of Cocoa Puffs. Raheed decides to re-retire after New Year's.

Steve Novak and Chris Copeland collide head-to-head in practice. Melo's finger is infected with a rare flesh-eating virus.

Be happy Jason Kidd got rid of the Slick Watts headband.

Next man up.

He had a great game last night but one game doesn't disprove what I wrote. Do I get to quote you every time Felton plays like crap and shoots us out of an easy win or into a loss?
