Not sure Im ready to crown him MVP in 6 games as we know he is capable of carrying the team in stretches, but I'll give him credit tonite as he passed nice, Made picks, Rebounds and was a "good teamate"!!!!

Im more impressed with him tonite than if he scored 45 and we lost!

The kid earned his stars tonite!!!!!

Well said Cash. Melo's rebounding in traffic was huge. He took several hard hits and never stopped competing. The Spurs threw everything at him defensively and he did the intelligent thing, he kept his head up. By the time Melo hit Felton, who hit JR Smith, the Spurs were too exhausted to keep up with the ball.

Nalod, the purpose of this thread was to just state that he will be in contention for it all year if the team sustains this kind of play for 82 games. I'm not crowning him anything, just saying that he's capable of hanging with the big boys.
