Seems your groin hurts when Melo got hit too!

Melo has had his "Cheap" moments also in his career.

He was smiling on the ground. As long as nobody gets hurt.

They flop. Its euro ball what do you expect?

I like the spunk of the little dude!

NOw if he stepped under his feet like it was first thought then thats a different story.

Nah, only my vagina!

Luckily his junk was just tapped and not punched. Besides Campazzo and Manu, I may hate Luis Scola the most on Argentina. He seems like a fake tough guy, that just gets under your skin. It's too bad Kevin Love didn't stomp on his face again!

Manu's flailing and falling without being touched at all and running forward into people and falling backwards like he'd been shot was on a whole different level of flopping. Clearly his flop game is tight. But otherwise I'd agree.

As far as what campazzo did, and others have done before... I don't see the motivation behind deciding to hit another mans hot, sweaty genitals (gross!) mid play when: the guy is MUCH bigger than you (you call it spunk, I call it wanting to get your ass handed to you), everyone knows you did it intentionally on camera and did I mention the hot, sweaty genitals?

You don't see us girls running around and doing the same.

And as far as retaliating for Chris Paul hitting him with the back of his hand on the side of his chest, why retaliate by going after his team mate? Why not go at Chris Paul if he's so tough. Again, this would have been a smarter matchup.

So I agree as far as liking the physical play and the last two games have been the most entertaining of all the blowouts but I wouldn't commend Campazzo for his "toughness". I hate to bring up Lin but if you look at the way Lin was beat up and bloodied every game he played, Lin retaliated by playing his heart out and winning. That's what I call tough. Not tapping a guys hot, sweaty....you get the point.

I also disagree with not celebrating after every point when up 20 against Argentina. If you saw the pre-olympics games, Argentina is capable of over coming such a deficit and they're also capable of hitting a guy where it hurts when they are losing by 20. So against Argentina, celebrate all you want. Demoralize them. Against Nigeria...now that's a different story. They were genuinely playing their hearts out and couldn't match up if they had double the bodies on the floor. That is a time to behave like gentlemen and not be celebratory.

Let's just bottle up our emotions and act like we been there before.

I mean the Olympics only happen every 4 years, pretty frequent right.

We should tell Misty May, Phelps, the US Gymnasts, and the Track and Field stars to stop celebrating too much, they have no class!

Apparently, Dick punching and Ball tapping is a staple of European or International play:

Yes, and his quote on that play is highlarious. Batums direct quote was "I wanted to give him something worth flopping over"

Yes...see the excerpt below

http://hangtime.blogs.nba.com/2012/08/08/russia-and-spain-into-the-semifinals/

Spain had to survive France and some late-game licks to advance. They closed the game on a 12-2 run and won 66-59 to set up Friday’s semifinal matchup against Russia.

Nicolas Batum took a nasty swing at Juan Carlos Navarro, balling up his fist and swinging below the belt with 24 seconds to play. His frustration boiled over after his team’s inability to finish with a flourish, the loss itself and Spain’s “flopping” as France exited the competition before the medal round.

It was the second or third such incident of the competition, with Chris Paul of the U.S. and Facundo Campazzo of Argentina both taking swings (or at least Paul was accused of taking one) during their last pool play game Monday night.

“I just wanted to give him a good reason to flop,” an unapologetic Batum said after the game. He was called for an unsportmanlike foul but wasn’t ejected from the game. And as players from both sides shook hands, Batum was in the middle of the mix without incident.

He objected to Spain’s tactics afterwards, though, insisting that he Spaniards resorted to acting late with the game on the line.

“That’s not basketball,” he said, haven taken particular offense to the reaction of Rudy Fernandez after he was fouled by Ronny Turiaf in front of the scorer’s table moments earlier. “Sometimes, you have to give them a good reason to flop. And I hope I did.”

Batum’s shot was just the latest hurled at Spain, lambasted by some in the international press for not being able to beat Brazil in their final pool play game. That loss removed them from the path of the U.S. Men’s Senior National Team until the gold medal game, provided both teams make it there.

I can't believe how well Melo is shooting. He is so locked in that he barely follows through on his shot now, he just puts it up there and swoosh.

They showed a graphic of what individual players on Team USA did in the NBA after the olympics were over and most of them went on to have some of their best seasons as players.

Deron Williams should not be on this team.

I think D-Will has been more effective so far than Chris Paul. The point guard play as a whole has been suspect. Spanish Chocolate came to play today tho. Looking way better than Prigioni did against Russia.

I would have gone with excellent distributors like Jason Kidd and Rajon Rondo. I don't think Deron adds anything to this team.

Yeah he does now, was scared when he landed on someone's foot. I have flashes of Bynum everytime I see that.
