I kind of like this lineup. Linsanity/Linstability aside, Felton played above average basketball in NY under D'antoni, and even if his stats were inflated by the SSOL (Sorry, Shit Outta Luck) system, his ability to run the pick and roll with Amare transcends any "offensive system". His conditioning has been questioned, and I hope he answers that unequivocally. But, I see an experienced PG that does not need to dominate the ball to be effective, can go left, plays defense and is tough.
Further supporting my admiration of this lineup is the 'old guys'. They are some mean, tough sons of bitches. I almost expect Oakley to get signed next. Camby and Thomas are gritty and tough. Maybe fragile as well, but this team is gonna use all of their fouls...hard. In practice, Camby and Thomas are gonna toughen Amare up.
I could see the Knicks filling the gaps with Grant Hill and hopefully Luis Scola (though he can do better than a Vet Min). I'd love to have Scola though and would put him in at the SF next to Camby and Thomas on the practice squad.
