its funny that all the nba analysts are saying that the nets will rival the heat. However they will ahve no depth and 2 bad contracts by memdiocre players. Joe Johnson is good but he isnt worth that much at his age. I mean at least teh heat had guys like chalmers,cole,anthony,battier,and miller

I think the Nets players compliment each other better. I can't think of a better rebounding frontline even with Bropez at the five. Evans, Humphries and Wallace eat up boards. Nets also have Brooks, and possibly even Green. If they get DH their frontline will be one of the best ever in my opinion. You would arguably have the top rebounder in the league at the 3,4 and 5 at least per minute. Even if they just have Gaines as their third guard they still will dominate. They are going to be very good.

I mean if they trade for Howard they are giving way brooks lopez humphries and a ton of first rounders. I kind of wnat them to do it. I mean johnson and wallace are horrible contracts

I agree. Kidd was atremendous leader for the Nets. I think he could help a lot in NY.

Oh and just for the record I'm ok with Kidd as long as he doesn't cost too much. The # 1 need of this offense is for someone to get Melo and Amare the ball where they like it and who is there in the league better at that than Kidd at his price?

Maybe he can teach Lin the art of the pass as well. I say we revived the Kidd thing in a few months (if he signs here) and then we can kill each other in this thread again. Yeah!~

Sounds reasonable to me. Without Howard they're a tough team but definitely not contenders, with Howard they're really scary and should be close to Miami and OKC.

I like the idea of Lee, he is what he is. Nothing flashy or spectacular, but he's definitely more of a true shooting guard compared to Fields.

Bulls in talk with Fisher and Roy to replace Rose to start the season. Bulls probably opening the door for other teams to move up next year.
