I hate Wade and lebron but lets be fair they are much better overall players than melo. I mean both are better defenders and passers. And most importantly both have btter playofff history

You are slowly turning back into the original JCrusher.

Denver is a much better organization than we are. They were a better team than us before the trade and they have made some great moves.

- McGee for Nene was a monster move
- drafting Faried best pick of the draft
- Andre Miller was a great pickup
- Corey Brewer was a great pickup! Helped Dallas last year in their memorable run and now really helping Denver (couldn't get off our bench )

Development:

-Ty Lawson is AWESOME! and is really the main difference in this team
-Affalo has really developed into a nice player

CARL IS A GREAT COACH even though they will probably get knocked out in the first round again against a very overrated laker team

Please stop overrating Denver management. They sucked and were gifted Melo in the draft. Denver has made plenty of crappy moves.

They will give McGee a huge deal then he will proceed to be a bone head that he was in Washington.

Andre Miller is a UFA.

Corey Brewer is trash.

I am talking about now. They look really good and that has nothing to do with any of the knick trade pieces.

Man, at least check the box score first, before posting stuff like this.

By the way, not only Denver had Gallo and Mozgov starting last night and playing solid.

Corey Brewer (and Rudy Fernadez) were acquired with the additional CAP SPACE created for them in the Melo trade.
Andrew Miller (and a first round pick) were acquired when they traded Raymond Felton to Portland last offseason.
So I should say that Gallo, Mozgov, Corey Brewer, Rudy Fernadez, Andrew Miller (plus multiple first rounders) are all related to the Melo’s trade and I’m not even including my boy Wilson Chandler since he is hurt and not contributing, otherwise Denver would probably look even better.

Who the phuck is Andrew Miller?

Yeah - you know what you're talking about. I won't even bother.

I really though Jonny Mize-Gov played well too.

hahhahahah!

The wildcard might be the draft picks not just Your boy Gallo.

Then, as now I think you gotta give it 5 years to look back.

Year one we were projecting .500 or better and would have made the playoffs without Melo. Swept.
Year two we are no better.

Now if you talking the future thats a different story.

I think your looking at the pieces looking to make yourself feel better and boster your MeloLove.

The bottom line is Denver is rebuilding on the fly without stars and have great flex and draft picks.

All the while, they are no better but more important, NOT WORSE doing so.

Thats the direction they wanted to go. They felt like Melo was a star they could/did not want to pay and perhaps felt they would never win a championship with.

Year two they are in the playoffs again and they traded their star for what you percieve was less than full value.

Nobody is crying over AR being in Minny. At least teh Darko cries are done.

Where are "They Now"? Funny, about the same place we are.

So the question is, was it really worth it?

In 3 yrs we should have cap space with Amare and Chandler coming off the books.

I dont love Melo. I like the Knicks having top 5 players at their position.

I like potential as much as the next guy but after 2-3 years I'm not expecting guys to make quantum leaps in performance. Sometimes what you see is what you get.

If Jamal Crawford had a brain he would be a star.

If Eddy Curry had heart he would be baby Shaq.

If Chandler had handle he would be allstar caliber.

If Gallo was consistent he'd be a great player.

.

If Melo played defense consistently and understood the concept of a team game he would have been worth the trade. You are right what you see is what you get. We ain't got Jack.

TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!
