Not by Melo. He played well - you are just hating because you chose a stance that you would like to be right about

MrKnickShot, look, I'll repost this from the game thread because I feel it's important, WE NEED TO GET THE FACTS STRAIGHT, PEOPLE, SO THAT WE CAN MOVE FORWARD WITH THE WHOLE PICTURE:

Fact: Since Carmelo's return, Lin has broken 20 points 1 time. Before Carmelo, Lin broke 20 points 8 times.

The chemistry has been crimped, no one can deny this. We were 8-1 without Carmelo and are now 2-3 with Carmelo.

He's a talented player but his presence is too heavy. Lin has been thrown out of the socket like an ugly woman.

I'm not bashing, this isn't bashing, but I'm recognizing a trend here. Believe me, it PAINS me to have to type these words, but someone has to take a stand. For the fans, for you and me, FOR THIS TEAM!

How about last game when he had 19/13?

Like I responded in the Game Thread, teams will start to trap Lin high - he will have to adjust. Everything was fine until Miami exposed him a bit.

in the 8-1 stretch (nice loss to NO!!), teams were not playing him like a star. Now they are and thats the main difference.

Without Melo today, they don't stand a chance. And, Melo has been playing excellent D. I did NOT like Melo's shots in OT but without him, there is no OT.

He had 19/13 against the CAVS! And EVERYONE had crazy numbers! It was like the David Lee game when he dropped something like 40/20 against Golden State!

Overall, Jeremy Lin fell off, but the SECRET IS IN THE REASON: Swagger Jacking.

If we delayed The Return by four weeks, Lin would be in Hall of Fame discussion right now, Knicks 17-4 LIN ERA.

Melo does a lot of things well, I'm a big fan!

BUT THIS ORGANIZATION MUST MAKE A DECISION:

Carmelo or D'Antoni!!!

ONLY THEN CAN WE MOVE FORWARD!

So its any other coach vs. Melo?

Who is the right man for the job?

What coach do you think can bring it better?

You know its either Phil, or Woodson or Herb!

Herb or Woodson, Phil's not coming back for this!

the only problem i have is that you seem a little biased towards melo. i mean its cool that he is your favorite player but he is not without his faults. I give melo credit he had a gret 4th quarter but he wasn't the only one who hit big shots. without shumpert we wouldn't have been close. Lin had a bad game but he did have a few nice plays at the end of the game where he made a nice layup and hit a 3 in less than a minute. YIt seems liek you are a lin hater which is weird since they play on the same team. also dallas played lin like a star didn't they double team him the whole game and he put up 28 and 14. Melo did well but he needs to start doing the fast break better he fumbled some wide open passes but i give him credit he is doing better and healthier

Melo is not my favorite player. He is just our best player. Of course he has his faults they all do. Players, coaches etc. MDA also has to figure out how to fit him best.

I love all the players who play hard, smart and are talented (on the knicks)

from what i've seen its better when he moves and when they are able to spread the floor. isos dont work all teh time. somtimes they do but for the most part its too predictable

I wanted to see it work, but the feeling is still here.

The very relationships I mentioned in the first page of this thread, they are suffering now.

Your first posts in this thread were 100% correct. When Melo was out the team was freed from carrying his burden and they had fun! They played ball. They passed, they hustled, they defended and they scored enough. It did not matter who. Melo only cares about his touches and his points.

I was at MSG on Sunday. The atmosphere was not Linsanity. That era is over for now, because MELO-Drama is back.

The sad part is that guys like Marbury and Melo cannot understand how they affect others and really don't care.

Melo, please leave. I so wish that Gallinari and Chandler were still part of this team!
