I think you misread. I said IN Denver, he was used like a closer, not as a Knick. Here, his role is pretty clear and I'd think he's happy to be away from Karl the Clown.
the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

DurzoBlint - well stated.

JR is also an entertainer. There is a dramatic flourish to his game. He does not simply dunk - he dunks it backwards. He does not take the textbook shot - he spins, twists and then decides whether he wants to pass or not. Being aware of the Broadway stage, JR knows that the people seated courtside paid good money for a show. He is happy to oblige. In his first game, with no practice, after he drained the first shot he ever attempted wearing a Knicks uniform, what happened...?

He heard it from the crowd.

After the second three, he sprinted back on defense and pimped out his crisp New York jersey, as if to say, "honey, I'm home!"

Like the most aware entertainers, who seek the highest notes, he feeds off the energy of the crowd. He will take risks. He will also fail. But after those moments when he hits it just right... all the ladies in the house will say, "OWWW!"

Is there a better place for JR than Madison Square Garden?

Most people on this board think I'm Bippity, so I actually count as two crow eaters.

And Bippity still thinks you're an a-hole.

-underrated defender (better than Fields)
etc

- Given his antics, JR deserved a vendetta or two.

Sorry, had to disagree with something; it's the rhoids typing.

I definitely am eating crow because I thought he would be a problem by taking bad shots and eating into Fields/Shump minutes.

That second unit wouldn't be as close to dangerous without him. Glad he's here and thank god for posters like airchibundo and his prognostications. Seriously though, looks like you were right about JR.

Not sure about your Baron Davis thoughts though.

The more he practices, the more plays he learns, the more he gets to understand the defense, the worse he plays.

At least he's where he's appreciated and loved by the fanbase who wanted him imported from China with all they were worth.

So, if JR starts to suck major donkeykong, ends up on the rag backpages for DWI or weapons charges, do I get to regurgitate all this crow?

Sometimes "coming home" has many distractions.

Good news is if nobody wants him he can stay for the 2.5mil he signed for and perhaps play up.

Hope is always good!

He's really been everything people fear most about him so far. Even in his first game. Shots were falling but they weren;t necessarily good shots. I do like what I see form him on D though. He's showing effort there.

We gave him an option for next year. We absolutely can't cut him. The picture thing is no thing. I am not worried about that. I want to see him start to hit his shot again. I like him off the bench so he can get his shots.

If anyone get a chance, take a look at the Foul committed on Brand in the 4th Qtr @ 4:25 on Lin's layup attempt. Look at the ref on the baseline. He was clearly not trying to give the continuation. You will see the ref waiting for the ball to go off the rim before calling that tripping foul. I am not no conspiracy theorist, but I am just saying.
