For all the heat melo takes here. He is the only one on this team that can be unguardable at times. Melo finds ways to score. He create for himself. If we can trade Amare for a post up player and a point guard we should do it. We would be a better team. We have Melo and a center. We need a post player who can score down low and should get a decent point guard. If not we should get a shooting guard. Chris Bosh is a better player than Amare. He has a post game, He has the better mid range shot and can rebound and is a better defender than Amare. I can't believe that bosh when Wade and Lebron were out led his team to victory.

Fields sucks. He finally looks like a 2nd rounder.
JJ should never have the ball in his hands.
Amare can't shot a mid range jumper to save his life. Is clumsy with the basketball in his hands.
Melo is the only passer on this roster beside Shumpert.
Shumpert is a rookie and takes bad shoots.

Papabear Says

We just might not make the playoffs with this team. They just don't fit. Shumpert is not a pure shooter. If this keeps up knowing this forum some of you will be ready to trade him by the end of the season.
This team just don't fit each other. What we should have done was get a pure shooter and maybe not made the trade for Melo and got Chandler this season. I think maybe. I;m not sure yet. I will have to see more games.

Some say the world will end in fire.
Some say in ice.

I say wait two games and we'll be world-beaters once again.

The sky is falling now but this team will make the playoffs....gotta believe that baron will come in and improve this team. Hopefully the Knicks can bring in more reinforcements as well....Knicks lack players with the balls to play this game

Everyone expects us to find some good point guard but with what money??? Please tell me what talented point guard is going to want to come play here for peanuts? Baron came here because he is still getting paid by Cleveland but he is old and has maybe one good year of 12/7 in him. Steve Nash is 38 year old man!!!!! We are not going to win anything with Amare on this team holding us back because he is proving to be the weakest piece. He is holding back this team. He is the ball stopper he can't drive anymore he always loses the ball or gets blocked.

Sadly I been holding out hope that Amare would get it together but he is the same guy he was last year. Only this year he doesnt have Wilson Chandler, Gallinari, and Felton picking up the scoring slack.

The biggest difference is now Amare is being guarded by PF's so he cant just blow by the man guarding him.

I wouldn't give Amare away but I'd trade him for a young PG and/or a PF and SG package.

Probably could get Stephen Curry and maybe Thompson for Amare but who knows. Curry has bad ankle apparently. I think Amare stil has plenty of value to small market teams.

TD passing on break to amare @ 3 point line that's just pathetic.

Someone needs to take Amar'e to the side and talk to him about rededicating himself to his craft. Too many people are questioning his health as a reason for his sub-par play. I believe that it's the bright lights of New York. Too many distractions. Toomuch ma about town.

I'd like to see what Amare, Melo and a PG can do together with Chandler, but I am also inclined to agree with trading Amare for the right package. Dude just doesn't rebound, box out, play defense all the time, and that's inexcusable.

I'm not worried. Team will get better by mid season. Some one mark this Message as someone who kept their head during turmoil.

Amare is still a good player but on this team that has money tied up in Melo and Chandler he would be better suited on a team that has a great point guard. If we can get a point guard and another PF who can score down low we would be a better team. I blasted ron ron before about that trade to Boston for KG and Ray allen but man they would make us a better team. Amare kills this team on defense. He turns the ball over trying to drive like he is a SF.
