A lot of people predicted that the brand of BB would be bad with no real time to prepare. Stern and the Union should've made an exception to start training sooner. These players need more time to get their game in shape.

I would start Shumpert in the backcourt for his defense & energy alone. Deal with his growing pains on offense. He, TD & melo can run the offense until Baron steps in. I like the defense that lineup provides

maybe less pressure on fields. he can't play any worse than he has since the playoffs last year. I think he can excel as a "do it all" SF

as much as I love the way shump has been contributing in the limited preseason, I still like the idea of Fields starting, and Shump being the leader for our second unit.
