It sells tickets.

Look over this thread from the first page on and look at expectations.

On paper we are strong. It takes time to build chemistry, and few anticipate injury.

How is the Glen Grunwald appreciation fanclub doing this week?

Don't get me wrong, I bought some 19th row center court seats soon after the chandler signing! Was looking forward to see Shump and Baron!

thats in 25 days from now!

Instead I might be treated to "The Lin Dynasty"! soon fabs will be screaming to make our 4th string PG taken off waivers our starter! Hey, what ever works right?

I have a feeling Knick fans will be riding the Bi-Polar coaster for a while!

I called it!!!!!

The "Bi-Polar Coaster season it has been!

and who knew "Itme Duigi" would in fact be Lin?

Many had the team .550 and that could prove pretty accurate give or take.

Its been a hell of ride, and the games interesting. Its April and we still in it!

Don't know where that lands us in the east.

I am factoring in some injury time and figure first 15 games are going to be erratic.

How fast Baron can get healthy and into the flow. That will take 10 games.

Thats .550 winning %.

My hope is that they do better. I am factoring in learning curve for Chump and Jorts.

This team on paper can compete for a championship.

If these guys can play carefree and into the system the have a big upside potential. Fields concerns me but my thinking is the kid did really well in Pre-Melo drama era because the ball movement was well defined. He had good lucks and the space to get to the basket Final 27 games never came together for them as we were hurt and understaffed. MDA had to slow the game down for Melo and BIllups. Boston series we were cooked going into it. I was not expecting much in that short series.

Anything less than conf. finals to me would be a disappointment.

In summary, Slow start but potential to finish strong!

I'd be more more impressed if you had predicted Dantoni not getting fired til after 18-24. My 45-21 prediction would've been money had Woodson started the year as coach

Thank you to all who so honor my achievement.

poor guns just can't handle it.

I built in Dysfunction. I thought the team would gel by the end of the season.

No linsanity built in and no I did not think Coach resigns.

Bottom line is 36-30.

That and a dime still don't get me a cup of coffee.

Bonnie, you were riding my coat tails on this one. Hope you enjoyed the view from behind!

I know Y'all are chomping at the bit to know what Me, Miss Cleo and the Swami think will happen in the Miami series!

Miami in Six.

And I hope to hell I am wrong! What I want and what I think are two different things.

Well put. Everyone can say "I would have been right if..." You just have to find the right words to describe what didn't actually happen and insert them after the "if"!

Miami in 5 or 6 sounds right. If Melo has outstanding shot selection, we could make a very tight series and possibly win though.

If woodson coached all year, Lin was starting all games, Novak is Novak and JR starts the year for us we win 50 and I predict that too.

Guns still at 45 and we call him a "Hater".

Silver nailed the 36-30 too. You guys must really hate Dantoni to predict we'd only finish 7th @36-30. Anyone who predicted 45-50 wins clearly didn't take abysmal coaching into account. Those who predicted 30-39 wins clearly did. So congrats!

The team overachieved with Woodson and underachieved with MDA. Three key players under Woodson (Chandler, Novak, and Melo) all played the best ball of their careers - the former two having done so all season. Obviously I didn't factor in overachievement with Woodson, Linsanity, or underachievement with MDA. Those three roughly cancelled each other out. If we were starting a new season now with this roster and Lin healthy, I'd predict around .620.
