What point guard is going to be available when we pick?

Nolan Smith

Nolan Smith isn't a point guard, he's another combo guard.

I think we need to do both, draft and trade for one. Stat is starting to break down.

Amare's not starting to break down. He pulled a muscle in his back, he'll be fine by next season.

He's been icing his knees all season. I'm not saying he's headed for the glue factory just yet but we need someone who can contribute right away. Not worth the risk of waiting on a PG to develop, could take years.

He moves a lot better than Ewing did at the same age, and Ewing was still a great player well after 28.

Ewing had a totally different game. He had to change it when he developed his own knee problems. I don't see Stat doing the same thing.

The most brilliant offensive mind in the game has his team putting on the worst offensive display for the season's most important game.

Knicks stopped believing after not being able to pull out either of the first two games.

Celtics picked up speed, Knicks bent in the wind.

Yeah, Ewing liked to bang in the post which put more pressure on his knees. Amare's more of a jump shooter/slasher; if he cuts to the basket less and develops a turn-around jumper I don't see any reason he can't be close to this effective for another 6-7 years. Especially if Melo becomes more a a first option.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

This team has heart

It's not a heart issue, it's a talent issue.

He relied mostly on a turnaround jumper, outside jumpers and a roll to the foul line. He couldn't take it to the rim like he used to. He changed his game to protect his knees. I see a smaller window for Stat, hope I'm wrong of course.

I doubt it.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.
