Yeah, I don't get that. The comment about not "buying into" pace and giving up 100 points is 100 points regardless of pace is beyond absurd. It's clear there's a misunderstanding that fast paced offense means no defense and this is somehow a justification for "defense wins championships", when fast paced offense does not necessarily prohibit a good defense. Despite the numerous number of times their misconceptions are brought to their attention, they refuse to change their obviously errant opinion. I give up. Might as well hate blindly, as this is more interesting than rooting for your team or paying attention to facts.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

TD with the bonehead move..26 secs left with 24 on clock and he drives to bucket to get blocked. He's playing well today though.

its been explained a million times that even when adjusted for pace, which it should, our defense is still terrible

so really, you guys are the ones just talkin about things without any idea

I've been saying the same for a long time now. Good defense will always let your offense shine. On nights when shots aren't falling, you can still escape with victories that have stemmed from defense.

For all the people who give D'antoni a pass for the pace, can you please explain why the Knicks are the 5th worst team in the NBA when it comes to opponent's FG%?

Anyone have an excuse for that statistic?

Douglas and Carter are actually better PG's for this offense than Billups. Seems Billups is just a shooter in this O sometimes.
