The perimeter defenders came to play tonight. That's all we needed is for those guys to step up.

This is why we got Melo, on nights when one is off we will ride on the shoulders of the other. Later on I know Melo will also carry us to a win.

Solid win for the Knicks tonight. So far, it seems that this team fails on Fridays and shows up on Sundays. lol

The next project is to win some in a row, and minimize the losses.

Oh yeah...

I'll notch my belt with another gamethread W, now.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

It is better let him rest while the lead was up in finals mins of the 4th anyways. Let Melo watch what Knicks can do without him. He hasn't really made his mark as a Knicks yet but in due time.

Glad the Knicks got it together in the fourth. Carter is going to help in the playoffs, looking forward to seeing Melo and Stat develop a two man game, defense is picking up.

That was win #32.

Next one is 33. Or as I like to call it - the Zeke Peak.

I agree Melo hasn't had a dominating scoring performance yet, but he's been pivotal in two game-clinching plays: the clutch basket against the Bucks and the D on LeBron.

The trade has allowed us to be able to be effective in a slow down playoff style game. This pace was glacial compared to how we usually play, but we have strong halfcourt players now so we can play this way. The more time together the better things will get on the defensive end. I just hope we put forth a similar effort tomorrow.

If Toney Douglas only could direct off the dribble... without always retreating on token pressure
