He was the guy getting screamed at starting at the first exhibition game. For a guy with communication difficulties D'Antoni has been very direct and obvious in his disapproval of Randolph. I made a mistake with my previous post. The point I was trying to make is that D'Antoni has a lot more patience and willingness to work with and coach a 24 year old free agent than he has a former lottery pick that has tremendous talent, is only 21, has put up tremendous numbers and was a target of the gm.

We need an upgrade over Turiaf--not Carmelo.

Its hard when you have had to look over your shoulder after every mistake starting in Milan. Dude is the youngest guy on the team and he is treated like he should know more than the 24 year old rookies the Knicks have.

I'm sorry but what from his playing time early in the season leads you to think he deserves time. When he was out there he was awful, selfish and very undisciplined. I can only imagine how he looks in practice. Have some trust in the coach. You see him on game day. D'Antoni sees him every day.

This team is balling and some clowns keep talking about AR. D'Antoni has really screwed things up! LOL. Some posters need a reality check.

Shawne Williams is a better shooter than Danilo Galllinari and that's pretty good

Shawne better watch himself, he was only 4-9 today and that 60% 3PT shoot average might dip some more.

I loved that in the 3rd quarter, down by as much as 23 points and having to guard Shawne after Williams drained 2 straight 3pointers, Wince got all fired up and hit 2 baskets in a row to bring his team back within 18 point. He was pumping his fists and shouting at his team to man up...

Great win.. suns stink and don't defend.. if you don't defend the knicks, they will crush you.

Amare was great at usual.. another day at the office..23/9

felton with a triple double.. 23/11/10, but 8-20 shooting is a bit too many shots.. but props to felton

Fields: Mr perfect.. 6-6, 14/10 boards... kid was amazing..

chandler was pretty mediocre tonight.. 16/6 but honestly outside of a few baskets in garbage time, he shot 3-9 when the game was still a game. still he didn't force the issue and hurt the team, so I guess it is just one of those games... right?

Shawne williams.. 15/7/2/3/2 and 4-9 from three.. excellent game off the bench..

TD: getting his stroke back, shot 4-8 from the field and defended.. made good decisions

Walker: 8/9 boards.. the 9 board are huge.. if he does that , he will play more often.. take notes AR!!

overall , kicks shot 50% from the field, 51% from three, had 24 dimes and outrebounded the suns 59-34.. complete ass kickin...

Go knicks..

maybe a better spot up shooter..from three.. but gallo can hit shots from three off the dribble, on the move, stepping back... williams is more of a set shooter.. there is difference.. inside the arc.. I have seen williams heave up some bricks... kind of odd..

FTs too, that's where Gallo separates himself.

But Williams is a very nice bench player for the Knicks. Like the kid.

Seeing Knicks fans with Melo jerseys on at this point is just downright insulting... let's be happy for and proud of the guys we actually got who are downright balling out of !@#$%^& control! Love this team... with a little help, we're right in the mix for a title, straight up. Stay patient Donnie... our time is coming, and we're on the come up, big time.

i actually liked what i saw out of Rautins... it was limited run but i think he's gonna be a viable role player for this team when he gets the opportunity to play.

Turiaf looked horrible tonight... was out of synch... i chalk this up to an off night... the guy has mostly impressed me all year w/his defense.

Wince is a fraud... Orlando made a great move getting rid of that guy

Looks like the Knicks really don't *need* Gallo for their offense to flow, particularly when Gallo hangs around the arc. Shawne Williams does a fine enough job in that role.

i was thinking the same thing watching this game... even Wilson was not having a great game but the way they were hitting their perimeter J's they didn't need him to.

right now, if Melo is traded to NJ then i wouldn't be opposed to trading Gallo to obtain an upgrade at the C position if the right player became available... i don't think our team would suffer that much by dealing him... wouldn't mind holding onto him either if there isn't a deal that makes sense, but we do need more rebounding.

I didn't zone in on Chandler when we were on offense, but the opportunities he sometimes gets were not there. I thought he forced/hurried a few jumpers, but as you said, he generally did not try to force the issue.

I wonder if defending Chandler and limiting his opportunities was on Gentry's defensive keys list for the Suns, who are simply terrible on D, and probably figured that Felton and Amare would get their points, so Chandler was the guy to key on.
