i like the fact that Melo is versatile enough to score in the post as well as on the perimeter, so when Amare goes to the bench we would still have a post presence down low to go to & utilize in the PnR.

I certainly can't argue with that benefit. I do agree that the team flounders without Amar'e on the court. I think the other half of that is due to the fact that we're pretty terrible at center (as much as I like Turiaf's effort), so when Amar'e goes out of the game, we're forced to play very undersized because we don't have good bigs to take over. If we fill both gaps, we're a contender, IMHO.

When Amare leaves we dont' really feature anyone. We need to turn to Gallo or Chan as the primary scorers. Get Gallo or Chan in a post up and work the offense thru them. Run PnR with Felton and wither Gallo or Chan etc. We tend to totally lose any kind of focus to the offensive attack. Just cuz he leaves doesn't mean you stop running the offense.

I told You TMS They just had tired legs. That rest did them all the good in the world. Playing a short rotation with so many games packed together just killed them mentally and physically. Like I said no way is Miami 20 pts better than us. We can shake that game off with a win tonight. Let's bring this one home KNICKS!
