good to see there be no letdown after last night's win... hopefully this team can continue to beat the teams they should beat... that's the first step towards becoming a good team, consistency.

I kept saying it in preseason, that the biggest improvement for this team was going to come on Defense. If you just look at how Donnie put this roster together it was bound to have an impact. 2 High level defensive PG's, lots of long athletic players and shotblockers, smart players too. We kept all of our good defenders and got rid of all the lames. I think now we can put this whole debate to bed as to whether Mike can coach D or not. This teams D came together faster than anything else and most of it is due to the actual talent, but there's been an approach from day one to use the defensive talent we had and be aggressive. They have the rotations down and they fight thru picks. This is a solid start for this team and I just look forward to seeing it continue and get better.

How many games has he played? How many minutes? He was altering shots and helping push the ball when the tempo picked up. Not really
effective in half court. Its going to take time for him to find a role on this roster. If there wasn't already enough talent on this
squad to win games it would be something to worry about.

ugly game at times.. officiating was horrible. but the knicks continued to defend and hustle.. 11 blocks..

GAllo was on again. played very wel..

Walker with some nice dunks

Chandler playing well and had that nasty reverse dunk. solid game

TD is a beast and felton is playing a very good PG..

Amare didn't force the issue and protected the paint.. He played a mature game.. 4 blocks, 18 points,

Turiaf has been a pleasant suprise... honestly is giving us something defensively lee just didn't..

AR, forcing the issue, but in limited time had 7 boards, 2 blocks and a host of intimidated shots...

mozgov is a heck of a athlete for his size.. when he puts it all together, he will be a hell of a player..

This team has more talent than we are given credit for..

fields had a quiet but solid game..

3-2

win the games you are supposed to win!

I'll take Ronny Turiaf and his 6 points, 4 rebounds and defense over David Lee and his 20 and 10 and zero defense.

And Toney Douglas is a keeper.

This is a VERY exciting team to watch. Our entire identity has changed and I think Amare has a lot to do with it - his winning attitude has spread in the locker room. I think we also have some really great supporting cast. This team should not be gutted via trade to pick up another star player. If we can keep what we have and sign FA I think we are on the right track.

I also love seeing RT - he reminds me of the ruggedness of Mason and Oak - we haven't had that kind of presence in a looooong time. We have a nice stretch of games that are very winnable - I am upping my expectations on this team.

It may be early and things can change but I think we will improve with time and AR and Azabuke aren't even contributing yet. If they can live up to their potential we make the playoffs, and we may be able to do it without them.

No doubt we need more pieces and time to improve but the Knicks are definitely on their way back.

Chicago down 4 with 3:34 to go.

We need teams like Chicago, Charlotte, Indiana, and Milwaukee to lose as much as possible.

Donnie did his thing, cuz we went from one of the worst Shotblocking teams to the BEST at this point in the season. Mike has done his thing, cuz we see a team full of guys that straight get after it on D. Amar'e, Turiaf and Felton have done their thing, cuz we see them leading by example and vocally and the team is playing with the fire that they have.

Maybe the Mason era is over. He is a nice guy, and seems to have leadership qualities but his game is gone. It would be nice if the Knicks went after a big. Turiaf is reckless and Amare has had very serious injuries in the past.

Great game. I may have to revise my wins estimate upward. The fellas are playing stout D and scoring comes from the entire roster. Nice to see Gallo with his swagger back. Chandler's dunk was shown 8 times. It's going to make SportsCenter highlights for sure.

Go Knicks GO!

Ha, I was just looking at those stats. Bosh with 1 rebound in 33 minutes. Big 3? Really just Dynamic Duo and friend.

See...thats the problem with splitting salaries amongst three players. Now expectations are going to be high for all three. The third wheel thats slacking (Bosh) will start to feel the heat from players, fans and the media. And chemistry will begin to break down...
