Oh, and who would be more hated?

LeBron/Wade/Bosh?

Or the NBA team who would take Beasley off of Miami's hands to help make this happen?

All this hate for them teaming up and stuff... Isnt it the goal in sports to win as many championships as possible? Isnt it the right thing to set your ego aside and be the best TEAM you can be? Thats what they would try to do. At least on paper, there is no better solution to win 'ships then to build up a dream team. Sure, Bosh/Bron/Wade wont be alone in the spotlight, but the players of the HEAT could need both hands to have enough fingers for their rings.

That said, they would instantly become the team to beat, the team to hate and yes, the team to envy! It would be Heat against the World, and deservatly so. But it would be a damn good Heat against the world...

...on paper!

In reality I think they will have to ask for the right to play with 2 balls, and even then they wont have enough touches to satisfy 3 egos as big as theirs.
That said, I think until 9 PM you will have at least 2 other favorite destinations for LeBron, and who knows, in the end even I will get out at 3 in the night to see who will be allowed to kiss his highness' butt

I love to watch a good game....a good competition. Winning is the goal, but a really competitive game that goes down to the wire is better. Not a blowout every night. If LeBron goes to Miami, he will lose the respect of almost all basketball fans around the world. The NBA will suffer from fan indifference.

Teaming up with Amar'e makes it a competition. Wade and Bosh vs LeBron and Amar'e vs Garnet,Pierce, Allen, vs Kobe and Gausol, etc.

LeBron is being compared to Art Model on ESPN if he leaves Cleveland. Wyndhorst speculating that he may not be able to live in Akron anymore. The Cavs and Cleveland are done if he leaves.

I tend to agree Mark. The three won't be putting up their known stats not even close. They have little supporting cast at the moment. It's not a foregone conclusion it would work. It certainly wouldn't be a bad team however.

Yet, again, they have to move Beasley to get it done and is there a team willing to take on Beasley for cap space? Or make him part of an S&T for one of the two of Bosh/LBJ? Even their own previous teams?

I would sincerely doubt it.

If there is, THAT team becomes instantly more hated than Miami and the trio IMO.

Yet, again, let us wait and not jump the gun on this one.

Let us see what the decision is for real and then we can all pull out our pitchforks and torches.

Cleveland is a cesspool. You can't finish it off any more than it already is. You could bomb it and it'd be like bombing Afghanistan....you couldn't tell the difference in the before and after pictures.

Windbag and Wojina have been two of the most panicked and worst writers during this whole drama. Throw Broussard in this as well. Those three just scared to death that LBJ is leaving Cleveland. Scared to the point where they have written fabricated nonsense the whole time.

It'd be funny if it weren't so juvenile and pathetic.

Would people feel the same if he came to the Knicks or Nets? Do they see him being part of the "dream team" as being a worse betrayal than going to teams like the Knicks and Nets where he will have to struggle to win a title?

calling yourself "the King" and holding an hourlong "special" on ESPN to announce where you're going to sign is fine if you are an alpha dog. signing to play with d-wade and bosh is pathetic. this would be if MJ came back from baseball and signed with the sonics to play with GP and shawn kemp b/c the bulls weren't good enough.

Hahn says LeBron to Miami.....

I Say ...... LeBron to the KNICKS!

If Hahn is wrong, shouldn't he step down as a NY Knicks reporter and everyone on the UK board who said LeBron is coming here should get to write an article for Newsday.

If he announces he's coming to NY tonight, it's going to be funny listening to all of you guys backtrack on the hate and name calling.

You don't set up an hour long televised show called "The Decision" and then leak it out the night before.

Hear it from LeBron's mouth tonight and then react.

I'm picturing it over and over in my head...

...and his mouth seems to be saying "Knicks".

I'm clearly delusional but that's all I have at this point. Blind faith.

Everyone needs to chillax. Hahn has been in denial state for sometime now always saying that the Knicks are long shots. This is nothing new he has been taking a defeatist attitude for some time now, which has me befuddled because he works for Dolan. But he isn't going to the Heat that is Wade's team and he wants his own team. Besides Knicks offer him more outlets than any team. MSG Network is available all over the US this help his brand tremendously. Winning will be done here in NY. If he decides to go to another team so be it. It is not the end of the world there will be other superstars this is basketball and another superstar always comes along.

I agree with IF on this. Way too much hating of Lebron before he actually says or does anything. All of this invective aimed at him is rational and appropriate WHEN he announces he will play on the hydra team in Florida. But he hasn't said any such thing yet.

And my gut tells me he will be joining the Knicks. It just doesn't seem right for a guy who wants to be the star to join those two guys. Winning that way doesn't hold a candle to actually earning it with his own team. If he even had a chance to win it with the Cavs there would be no FA lunacy. But Cleveland just can't manage the cap to give him what he needs. Bosh made that decision for them.

But he can make the Knicks his team and win it the right way here. I am certain that the NBA would rather revive a rivalry between Miami and NY than to create a behemoth in Miami that all the lesser teams have to hate and try to take down. This is basketball, for crissakes, not King-Of-The-Hill.

I am not selling my MSG shares today. Lebron is coming to NY.

In the NBA deals are done only to help the Lakers and Celtics all other teams have to earn it.
