1) I think there is zero chance he ends up playing with Wade. As much as winning a championship is important, legacy is just as important and Lebron needs the ball in his hands to do that. Amare on the floor with Lebron makes him most likely to average a triple double-- Amare may be the best 'finisher' in the game.

2) Just comparing--- WADE, JAMES, and BOSH looks ridiculously difficult to beat... but the proposed JAMES, AMARE and MELO is a little bigger and more physical...

3) We aren't hearing anything about a S&T with Cleveland and Miami or Toronto and Miami. Now, that means Lebron would have to take less to go to Miami and play with Wade and Bosh. He could get a 5 year max contract to come to NY and play with Amare and knowledge that they will attempt to sign another max FA next year (MELO?)

4) Finally, I think Wade and Bosh announcing they were headed to Miami was the culmination of Bosh's decision not to go to Cleveland or Chicago-- mainly because he knew James was either staying in Cleveland with Bosh or going to NY with Amare.

You know I gonna spin wit it

It's pretty fun reading cleveland.com/cavs right now. Those fans are fit to be tied over there. They are already calling Thursday "The Decision" as if it's already a part of the Cleveland sports curse along with "The Drive" "The Fumble" and "The Shot."

LeBron will make announcement in Greenwich, CT
2 m ago By Alan Hahn

Multiple sources told Newsday that LeBron James' one-hour special on ESPN, called "The Decision", will be broadcast from a studio in Greenwich, Conn.

The show will air at 9 p.m. on Thursday night on ESPN and James will announce his destination of choice. There was a belief that James would make the announcement from his hometown of Akron, Ohio, which would lead to speculation...

Well, before we hear what Lebron decides, I must admit despite all the criticisms about the media and the free agents themselves and how they've handled this free agency, I've actually enjoyed the past few days, and all the speculating and cross examining of every morsel of rumour and misinformation, as mixed in with all my fears of doom and striking out, I've actually occasionally felt hopeful for the first time since Isiah Thomas became our GM (ha! I was psyched at the time! So much so that it took me many years to admit that he had no idea what he was doing!) and these boards have been nice and busy and excited again- they've been fun to read compared to all the squabbling and infighting and despair that they kind of fell into at some points over the last couple of years.

Also I'll admit now that I was completely wrong in opposing that Jordan Hill trade back at the deadline- it might still blow up in our faces, but if it wasn't for that we wouldn't even be in the running to get Lebron- I think it was worth the gamble even if we strike out.

Can't confirm this but a Knicks source claims the location may be Allan Houston's house. Wow

if Lebron were gonna join Wade & Bosh in Miami, they would have all announced it together... the fact that they probably know he's decided not to go there is probably why they came out w/their announcement today ahead of Lebron's televised thing tomorrow... could be a sign that he's coming here to NYC.

according to wojo - lebron's team leaked that they were going to miami so he could have the spotlight to himself on thursday.

either way - the end result is the same.

an ego the size of lebron could never play second fiddle to wade.

an ego the size of lebron seemingly only fits in NYC.

we'll see.

Its crazy how hes got so many people just following and watching his every movie.. I was reading this article and its so true, I wont believe the rumors anymore until I see him wearing the jersey.. His team could have plated that to raise the suspense.. http://www.msg.com/blogs/charlie-zegers/the-new-big-three-1.45997 .. but I really wonder what they will be saying about him on the Knicks Night live special tonight on MSG after the decision.. Should be interesting If he goes to Miami
I don't think there will be a problem unless somebody wants to make a problem, ... If they really want to make a problem, they're going to have to make a decision about how they want to spend their adult life in terms of playing in the NBA or not.

Only big 3 I can think of are Amare, Lebron and Gallo.
