Yea but who needs a power forward who can go 20 and 10 with 3 point shooting ability, inside scoring and a nose for the ball? We have cap space! And everyone knows cap space wins games, not players.

Ariza-ish don't you think?

Ariza Lite?

Yeah remember when Ariza came into the league how he would just stood out on the perimeter awaiting a pass for the straight B-line to the rim.

hasn't been many games so i can't really comment on what Walker reminds me of, but aside from the dunking i don't see much of a similarity w/Ariza... Ariza made plays on the defensive side of the ball & played the passing lanes really well & disrupted shot attempts using his length.

Zach might have the best hands in the NBA if the ball is in his vicinity he like gravitates to it. Once grabs the ball you don't knock it out of his hands.

See this is what I hate about +/- shyt. House finishes the game with a +4 stat line while shooting 5-12 and committing 3 turnovers. Arrghh..

Randolph might literally have the best rebounding technique I have ever witnessed. And I remember Oakley and some other guys quite well.

Actually Rodman had better rebounding technique than Randolph. But Rodman didn't play on offense. But he did play defense.

Oh, I was only talking about offensively coming into the league. Ariza ball handling is better too respectively.

Yea because he doesn't rely on athleticism he style is strictly old school he's constantly fighting for position and following the flight of the ball. He's a combo of low to the ground strength, instinct, and great hands.

Malik is lost. Lee couldn't rebound on his own. Dude didn't even lead his team rebounding tonight.

Lee, I have to give him a break on this game. Gasol and Randolph did a number on him. There was no way for him to get around those big bodies. They boxed him out all day. Lee is not a box-out rebounder. He is a hustle rebounder.

Maybe it's that $5 yellow tie he's got on.

i agree, Ariza looked awkward w/his handle but he was able to get to the rim off the dribble... so far i've only really seen Walker float on the perimeter looking for backdoor cuts w/o the ball or taking 1 or 2 spot up jumpers... i'd like to see if Walker can create shots for himself after he gets used to the sets that MDA likes to run.

Yea Lee has absolutely no help underneath and why this issue has not been addressed by the Knicks front office is beyond me. Even if they just get a big body to bang down low but having Harrington/Lee, Chandler/Lee, or Gall/Lee is not going to work in the NBA.

Walsh should have drafted a center and a point guard. Those are the 2 key positions to building a solid team. That is how you free up your shooters and slashers to operate.

Here I was thinking I was out of the loop because those two positions could have been addressed quite easily in these past two drafts.

The problem is that Lee is not a banger himself. He starts off in the high post. It is amazing how ineffective he is with delaying post moves. Gasol blowing by him was similar to Miller blowing pass him to get to the rim. Everybody else has got their man. At some point you are on your own.
