Wrong. Rockets originally wanted a Young guy and an expiring. Rockets are trying to rape us because Jefferies is a 2010 cap killer for them.

Donnie has Morey tied in knots. I think that 3 team thing is a few hours behind. It looks like it was something that was worked on and then Houston stayed with the Knicks and made it look like they were just using the Bulls for leverage. The Bulls said F that and did their thing now Morey outsmarted himself and is holding an empty bag of TMac.

uh, the article actually says "the trade is contigent on salmons who is already being included in another trade"...

and the proposed trade has nocioni's contract which is MUCH more of a cap killer - dude has four seasons left at $7M a year. and beno udrih's contract is horrible and goes out for four years, too!

sounds like the rockets are just trying to scare the knicks into unprotected picks again.

The Bulls just got rid of their SG and brought back 2 bigs.

Bye Bye Miller(C) and Thomas(PF) say hello McGrady(SG).

Optimus, the Rockets aren't trading for the Kings giant long term deals.
Salmons was traded to the Bucks.
The Bulls already moved on once the Rockets wanted Tyrus, Taj Gibson, 2 firsts, and expirings.

....come'on man.

It's Knicks-Rockets or no trade come tomorrow afternoon.

I understand that. Chicago moved Salmon's by themselves. Now Chicago can do a deal without the Kings by doing Thomas and Miller for McGrady. The Knicks are in no way a lock to get McGrady unless we throw those picks in. You seriously dont think Chicago is trying to block us from getting space for two max deals?

Jordan Hill hasnt proven he is better than Tyrus and the Rockets can use Miller to make a playoff push. The key is the deal with Chicago still allows Morey flexibility this summer which I would assume is more important than unknown protected picks.

I apologize to the poster above for not being clear.

It's slowly slipping away:

NBA source: Rockets looking for a third team to revive talks with Chicago. Knicks still in the mix.

http://twitter.com/ChrisMannixSI

It goes from "finalizing a deal" to being "in the mix". This trade will be dead by tomorrow morning.

Watch this:

Miller, Tyrus, and James
for
Mcgrady and Hayes or Tempe

Voila.

Just shuffling garbage.

I think this deadline proved that all these writers/insiders are full of ****.

Isn't it always the case? I think those guys also fall for the fact that teams will discuss a trade, back away and talk to other teams, come back and re-initiate talks to see if it can be worked out... and round and round they go until either they come to an agreement or walk away for good.

It happens a lot which is why I try my best not to hang on every new word that comes out.

We all hashed over this to death today. Tomorrow it's best to try to sit back and just wait and see if an official confirmation comes out of any deals.

One thing is for certain, Walsh confirmed tonight to Tina he is actively pursuing several trades and would have an update for us at Knicks practice tomorrow.

So we wait...

sigh.

I know it's been address but all of these potential deals improve this team nicely now and set us up well for the future. Our revamped roster would look pretty promising.

C Lee, Curry
PF Chandler, T Thomas, Dorsey, Cook
SF Gallo, Bender
SG McGrady, Giddens,
PG Duhon, House, Douglas

I would also be interested to see us sign lebron and resign lee, mcgrady, and House. Then we could also look into a deal of Chandler for Augustine, and maybe use Curry to acquire a better center like Dampier now that the Mavs have Haywood.

C Lee, Damp
PF LeBron, Dorsey
SF Gallo, Bender
SG McGrady, House, Giddens
PG Augustine, Douglas

Something like that would be very interesting.

these trades will help us improve this year the same way the Zach & Jamal trades helped us improve last year.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.
