It couldn't have been a worse dunk contest. DeRozans "teammate" dunk was nice, and so was Nate's last dunk, but come on. 3 pt shootout seemed rushed and uninteresting too for some reason. Didn't they used to have more contestants for that one too? The competitions arent gonna be good when no one, including the organization that sponsors them, seems to care for them.

I thought the rookies v sophs was great. Really gives you an isolated look at some of these guys' moves. Blair was an absolute joy to behold - that dunk off his own backboard alley oop!! And his dominance over the last few minutes of the game!! Tyreke evans is the epitome of a gentleman with his calling up blair to share the mvp award. I love these kids.

When it comes to the dunk contest, after Jordan, Nique, Vince, Nate, Dwight, ext...how much more can the human body do? Havent we pretty much seen it all, unless they start using trampolines.

Yeah, that self-alley by Blair showed he is a more explosive athlete than a lot of people thought (Except me). I really like Blair and I have been catching him on TV when the Spurs play. He is a pretty good dribbler for his size. I have seen him isolate against other power forwards, shake them up and drive for hoops a bunch of times. He really is talented, I think he just needs to get his jumper a little more consistent and he is shaping up to be a tremendous steal for the Spurs.

I did not watch the end of the Rookie-Sophomore game. Did Blair really bust their ass man among boys style?

oohah

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

at the end of the game the rooks were rooting him on to get his 20 & 20... they gave him the ball in the final minute to try & pad his stats a bit, but he was definitely the most active player on the floor that game.

Blair was incredible. On one rebound he got, he took out Lopez, Evans and Jennings. And Evans and Jennings were on his team. That guy is a brute. To beat a horse to death, Knicks could have used someone like him. Credit to Briggs for that one.
