I'm watching Cosmic's video when Nate heats up... dude is definitely a dynamo. He basically was leading plays on both ends... that moving screen on Detroit then he lights them up on the other end.

Like that shot for some range from Hill, that would be a nasty weapon.

that is the problem with this team.. after that steal, that would have been a great time for nate to give the ball back to gallo. he was getting hot... but this team is just ridiculous that way...some of these cats just don't get it.. don't get the concept of ball movement and finding the best shot.. they are interested in their own shot..

And on a less-important note, good game by the boys today. They should be expected to beat an injury-ravaged Pistons squad, but you can only beat whats in front of you. Nates unreliable, noone can dispute that. But as long as Micky D has a tight rein on his minutes (which he does) hopefully we can take advantage of his good days while limiting the damage he does on his bad ones.

Well one thing has changed. He now knows his coach takes no BS and if he pulls another 1 on 5 type game he'll be eating pine. Whether that changes his attitude over time or not is still to be seen, but I like that he'll feel that he has responsibility over whether he plays big minutes or not. At this point, a little accountability is just what Nate needs and Mickey D gas given him just that.

i agree that was the motivation behind the benching all along, that MDA was trying to teach Nate a lesson about his shenanigans, selfish play & attitude & that he wouldn't tolerate it... it was a disciplinary action, not totally basketball related... still, don't fool urself into thinking Nate has changed one bit... he's still a mental midget that will spend just as much time preening & posing as he does making big plays on the floor... he'll wow u with his ability & then make u wanna pull ur hair out cuz of his inconsistency & other foolish behavior.

We're on the same page TMS, which is why I'm quite pleased with what the coach is doing to him. Nate now has a choice..... Probably the biggest choice of his career. Either play like a professional responsible member of the team, or sit next to Eddy Curry. In hindsight, I also like how he did it. He didnt nag nag nag until Nate, being the child he is complained about his joy being taken away. He sat him. For a looooong time. And now he only plays him big minutes when he plays as part of the team.


If Nate gets the message, we'll have a real baller on our hands. If he doesn't, we'll have him for the good times, and he will polish that pine like a janitor on speed when he goes AWOL.
