the disruption wasn't nate really, but the thing is that the knicks were struggling, the rockets were clamping down and if you put nate in a situation like that, you're either sinking even deeper or he'll catch fire and bring you out. more often than not you'll sink deeper.

Yeah. Pretty much. Some guys didn't show up tonight to play in this physical game. I wouldn't put Nate in that group. This is an example of playoff basketball where whistles go away and the physical play really goes up a notch.

i think we lost because the Rockets are better than us.

Here is the problem..........

Bender = 2pts / 1reb in 17mins
Duhon = 8pts / 4ast in 35mins

You could have split those 35min with Larry and TD while Hill could have Bender's 17mins

Gave this one away.

We REALLY need a starting point guard.

One play stood out to me for our need for a starting point guard. At the end of the 3rd, Nate comes down - Gallo is standing at the arc all alone a good 4-5 seconds or so and Nate just looks him off and takes a contested layup to end the quarter. Things like that really irk me.

And someone needs to tell Duhon you don't get an extra point shooting 7 feet behind the arc.

Gotta get up for the Okies on Monday.

i agree, if you gotta pick one player to blame, blame duhon. guy was just outworked by whoever was checking him, duhon just didn't have the reciprocal intensity. he looked like a lamb. you need to be a wolf to win.

Entertaining game.

David Lee - I cant even hate because his offensive game is so smooth now, handle included. He still stinks on defense though.

Wilson Chandler - Has been playing pretty consistent but seems to play like a chicken with his head cut off.

Chris Duhon - I cant believe I defended him earlier in the season. The guy stinks at both ends. Glad he is expiring.

Nate Robinson - Nate being Nate. He is brought in as a scorer off the bench so I cant get too annoyed. Lets just say I wont miss him.

Jefferies - His few defensive plays aren't worth his complete lack of offense not to mention Carl Landry gave him the business.

Overall I liked how we played. We just need to gut our back court. I'd kill for Mike Miller on this team.

I agree, he had a great first half but didn't rise up to what Scola was doingg. If he is an all-star then that should not happen.

Interesting where is your point for Gallo? Because he didn't show up tonight at all.

we needed Al in this game... Rockets' bench outscored ours 48-22... Hughes could have helped too, especially on a night when Duhon obviously didn't have his A game... but hey, it's absolutely essential that we get Jonathan Bender those minutes cuz he makes such an awesome impact everytime he's on the floor.

To tell the truth. I wouldn't want to see Al in a game like this. He would have been forcing things in the 2nd quarter when they picked up defense. And jacking up quick 3s. Maybe they fall, maybe they don't but this game would have been over in one way another quicker than it was.

I don't understand D'antoni and his use for Bender.

Just because you have a 7 footer on your roster who camps out at the 3 point line and doesn't do jack shyt else, doesn't mean you fauking insert him into the game.

Al's been taking it strong to the hole of late before he got injured... i don't think he's been settling for 3's... we had no one off our bench that MDA actually decided to play that gave us anything offensively other than Nate... Bender was a joke & Landry only got 3 minutes of action.

Hey y'all we need to expand our offense to much more than having Lee & Dusuck trying to force the pick n roll. And yes Bender SUCKS more than a whore at a john convention.

We need a starting point guard. I think that's our biggest need next to getting a star player.
