Thank God the Yankees already made my year sports-wise, but in terms of the Knicks, right now I see no hope and I'm really tired of this same sorry act each season.

Knicks fan--this is a disgrace--I know they have a 2010 plan? but they could've done a lot more to make the team better. I think it's fair to say that when we came back from Indiana--we lost AI when we were about to get him--only a short term fix--or maybe he wouldve stayed on the cheap for 2-3 years--we'll never know.

The basketball I watched at the Garden was 10 times more exciting--I stayed for 3/4 of Duke game---kids all played with very high level intensity. You come home and watch the Knicks and they play with 1/3 the fire and the coach has the audacity to say after the game they are playing hard.
What a disaster rebuilding and taking this guy as a coach--I don't like him--if Checkettes and grunfeld were hear he would already be out.

He seems to be getting it now and I think his worst game statistically since becoming a starter was 13 and 4. He is a really athletic 6'11" guy and could have a long career. The Kings may have hit a homerun with Thompson and Greene. I can't stop hating the Gallo pick with all of the talent available.

had you given green the same amount of time you and others have given gallo, you would have given up on him, long, long ago.... but this is the life and behavior of a knick fan.. no wonder why ron artest said, players just don't want to play here.. My son's friend will be playing ball at USC this year. the kid has a good chance at going pro, his godfather is xavier mcdaniel... I told my son to tell him, if he is lucky enough to get drafted in the NBA hope it is not with a NY team.... my son told him and a funny thing happened... he said he was alread warned by other friends who were jokingly serious... LOL

I think his worst game statistically since becoming a starter was 13 and 4.

BTW: donte's last 4 games..not including tonight

not really that good...

tkf, I was a fan of Greene in college. I didn't want the Knicks to take him with the 6th pick but I have followed his career. I have been critical of the Gallo pick for alot of reasons but he is a Knick and I want him to succeed. There is a big difference in the expectations for a guy taken at 6 and a late first round pick. Its too bad players feel that way about NY but I don't think X had a problem playing here.

I'm tired,I'm tired, I'm so tired right now......Kristaps Porzingis 1/3/18

Looks like Gallos last 4 games.............................. I would trade Chandler and a 2nd for Greene no questions asked.

10/6/2/2
11/4/3/2/2

Looks like gallo's all around numbers are a bit better, but their scoring is similar... donte doesn't seem to rebound much and considering how good an athlete he is, makes you kind of wonder..

I just read that chandlers ankle is still bothering him, and I understand that with the surgery. But when healthy, no one would be talking about trading him for donte green, especially if you saw donte play last year..... In this circus envriornment, I really don't know how to judge the young guys...

I understand expectations, but looking at gallo's numbers for a guy who has just played 43 NBA games, his averages are pretty well above average when you look around the league for a lot of lottery picks. So I really don't understand what you are expecting here. Green has 1 good game. best game of his career and all of a sudden NY fans overreact.. gallo had a 30 point game and it came with a bunch of "yea, but.....". sort of a double standard.. have you watched any other kings games this year? I have... green has been pretty much quiet.... And honestly, I think westphal is doing a good job letting the young guys play. You don't see him trotting kenny thomas out there, may, or even a heavy dose of udoka.. guys like tyreke evans are getting a chance to fail and succeed. I saw evans last night shoot two airballs and 3 bricks and yet he gets to stay on the floor, and in the end, he put up a nice game, because he didn't have to look over his should to see if he would be subbed for a chris duhon or Al harrington....

i think u hit the nail on the head w/that post... the simple fact is that this Knicks team are filled w/a buncha veterans who own expiring contracts who know they don't factor into the longterm plans in NY & they just gave up during this game, while the Kings are fielding a buncha young guys who are hungry to show what they can do in this league cuz they're getting the opportunity to do so... the freakin' plan according to Donnie & MDA was to develop the young guys, so why the hell are all the vets getting the lion's share of the minutes??? the contradictory BS they try to sell us on is a travesty.

if u say the plan is to develop the young guys, THEN PLAY THE FREAKIN' YOUNG GUYS!!!... put Jordan Hill & Toney Douglas on the floor & let them show what they can do! we passed on AI but we're still playing Chris Duhon 40 minutes a night at the point & Jeffries 20 minutes a night in the frontcourt... this is a joke of monumental proportions!

not that having our young guys seeing minutes & putting up numbers would change anything around here... people will still be covetous of other teams' prospects over ours, it's just the prevalent ingrained Knick fans' mentality.

I think Donnie and D'antoni are worried about giving UTAH the #1 pick.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.
