I haven't said much here in this thread but it was only a few months ago where we were discussing letting Lee walk and posters were saying that Donnie is a shark and he would get assets back, there would be under the table draft day trades involving future S&T, hush hush type of things yada yada yada. Some posters said it would be horrible mismanagement of assets and even some suggesting it was a fireable offense if the guy just walks. Is that opinion still held and if not why the change? Just curious.
it's certainly still held by me... everyone wants to rag on people who say losing Lee for nothing is a bad move on Walsh's part cuz they're afraid to criticize the man apparently... i don't hold any alliances to Donnie Walsh, if he makes a mistake i'm gonna call him out on it just like i'm gonna give him props when he makes a good move... letting Lee walk w/o getting anything back in return is just moronically stupid, i'm sorry... doesn't make a damn bit of difference if he's not Dave DeBuschere, Dave Cowens, or whoever else... he was our best asset & you're throwing him away for nothing if u let him walk w/o trading him... anyone who thinks that's a wise move needs to wake the F up & smell the damn coffee.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.
