Pending the result of the Bucks game (they're currently down 9 with 4:30 to go) - we're going to be a half-game out gaining a win on everyone.

I'll take three ugly victories any day of the week.

basically, this team shut some of us up, even my "skeptical side."

i sense some heart that is growing, because we've never had it.

some of us may not recall, but hughes was a finalist, and i wonder if the maturity we read in that article could mean he is a good fit for this team.

his defense has set a tone i can't recall seeing in years. is he a superstar? no, but belief is key. you HAVE to believe you are capable, and having someone who sets a high expectation level, without embarrassing you is a very effective way of getting people who struggle to see "the hope" to change.

it's subtle, but i've never seen this team play D this way in years over a stretch of games like this.

I think jeffries was playing well, and for all of the critics of d'antoni for defense as a coach...

hello...

MANY of his subs were defensive related.

jeffries was doing it there, and why al got benched.

al will be used again, but this was key for us in this game since we struggled for periods, but our DEFENSE kept us in the game.

Yeah, strange. He didn't look happy on that last time out. That guy is playing for contract he need him some minutes.

Unfortunately the Nets are up in Portland. Bucks are going down.

We're 37.6 seconds away from being only a half-game out.
