Pacers retreat!

Huge defense by the Knicks on the one possession they needed it. That was a great block from behind from Chandler.

Would it be crazy to think Nate is our best player?

He pretty much has become our best offensive player

Murphy had that jumper but got caught off guard by Chandler going for the block. Good game by Murphy though.

Cool, Nate ties Bob McAdoo's Knicks record for most points for a bench player - 41

The dude is rebounding, making plays, he's everywhere. The guy has really lifted his game. He's quickly becoming an NBA attraction.

8 rebounds and only 1 turnover for Nate. Best stretch for a Knicks player in quite some time

Nope, Nate is becoming an All Star

Maybe.

But even so, there are all-stars people don't pay to see. People don't go to games to see Chauncey Billups. People will go to games to see Nate.

Which is why the Knicks will re-sign him. Knicks have an interesting team developing. Even if they don't get the big superstar in 2010, if some of these players keep developing they way the have been and they add another solid piece in the draft, they may not need the big FA to get to a position where they can be a dangerous team. Just need the flexibility to add more importance pieces as necessary.

It's simply amazing how far Nate's game has come since even last year. What a season this guy is having.

horrible game..

we let jack and daniels combine for 61 points. I mean that is kobe/ gasol type numbers on a good night.. wow..

Our defense sucks..

Duhon looks horrible..

chandler had a up and down game..

Gallo came in, looked to have some spring in his game, got 3 boards, missed 3 open looks, but the kid needs time and touches, plain and simple..

Nate saved the game, got hot and took over..

Al had a decent game, hit some big shots as well..

Lee missed some key FT's, but had another double double..

Boy this was a ugly, ugly win..

I'm sure guys like Pharz and Isles will just accuse of me of being an idiot and a Gallinari apologist or something but I thought Gallinari was very active tonight in his 5 minutes. He was cutting and crashing the boards alot more than he has in any other game I've seen so far this year. His shot was off but he looked tentative and like he was rushing things and that's probably because he's trying to hard to prove himself to MikeD. I still do think upon first looks that this kid has a bright future in the NBA.. he just needs to work hard and get his minutes.

Nope. I thought he had a good game for his limited minutes. He looked to get dirty rebounds and blocks in a physical game which has been missing IMO. I am not sure about a bright future but at least it tells me he wants to do more than just stand around the 3 point line. I don't think he was rushing his shot, I just don't think he can shoot off the dribble that well. Still need him to drive to basket to draw contact at least. Bascially play like a 6'10 player. Still don't understand why he wouldn't get more playing time over Hughes or Q and I stand by that.

Gallo has been crashing the boards a lot more lately. I actually think he is active defensively as well, but he certainly can get exploited b/c of his lack strength. I think he's settling for the 3 way too much offensively though. I want to see some more variety from his game cause I know he has it.

For what its worth, despite Chandler's ****ty game, he came up big at the most opportune time. That's what you like to see out of a young guy- be useful when you don't have your game.

Exactly, but then Im sure when we beat a few teams with just 7 players they said the same about us. It's funny like that because you put guys in some situations and they step up. You take a look at the bucks who seem to have found a very good player or players in Charlie V and sessions.
Guys get minutes and touches and all of a sudden your like damn.

But jack is looking like reggie miller in his last 2 msg appearence, but is ridiculously inconsistant every where else
