Danilo looked really good today. He was very active around the court. He looks like he will be a scorer and maybe a player that can play some point forward. The key is for him to stay healthy. His shot is there so if he can develop a good head fake watch out. So far so good. I think it is unfair to compare him to someone else. Let's let Danilo become his own person.

Theoretically - if we are about to get LeBron and Bosh or some substitute for these free agents - and Gallo can turn into Kukoc, I would be pretty happy. Let's see what happens with this guy, hopefully he will be serviceable.

i don't see u saying anything to those projecting this kid as a bust... why is that acceptable while someone saying he might be good is not? i don't think u can get any sense at all how he's going to turn out from what we've seen of him personally... the Kukoc comparisons i've brought up have only been made to say that's the type of player that i think he might turn into, not what i think he is destined to be... he could be great, he could stink... none of us knows either way... for people like isles, BRIGGS & others to have labelled this kid a bust before he ever even put on a Knicks uniform makes me think some of you just don't want to see this kid succeed... that's a completely myopic & close minded view of this kid's potential & ability... obviously Donnie Walsh sees some big potential in Gallo otherwise he wouldn't have taken him so high in the draft... for some of you guys to sit here & pretend like u know more about judging prospects than he does is completely laughable.
