The question remains, how long are you babies going to cry about it? You can't change the pick. You can't make him healthy. All you can do is sit back and hope for the best.

I want him to play. I think the Kid lost his nerves after taking a shot from Tractor trailer. You need to find out if he is mentally damaged goods.

I don't understand how you can say that. How do you have ANY idea that is the scenario?

We need to find out if this kid has heart. In any professional sport players play with pain that is just the way it is. These guys are talking neural pain radiating down his legs that is not good. Sometimes you just have to play through the pain and the body gets use to the pain and eventually subsides over time.

You have absolutely no idea the nature of the situation. How do you know Gallo doesn't want to be playing right now but isn't being allowed by Walsh? If I were Walsh, I wouldn't want my draftpick playing if the doctors requested he rest.

Sometimes you just have to let the situation ride out before making assumption after assumption.

Thanks for speculating on what Walsh might be doing. Look all I'm saying is this kid needs to get out on the court, pain is gonna be there, once he starts playing and his body will become accustomed to the pain eventually the pain will subside as he continues to play. His body will get use to playing with pain once the adrenaline starts flowing players don't even think about the pain.

I'm with you Vmart, I want Gallo out on the court. I don't know why he's not out on the court yet, but I'm going to believe it's because theres a pretty good reason. I'm not going to hold it against Gallo until I see some firm evidence (haven't seen the slightest yet) that the kid is being a wuss and doesn't want to play with the big boys.

Not sure what is so hard about that.

hey didn't you guys hear from dj today that u don't have to hit reply with quote every time?

i mean jeez.

I was thinking the same exact thing. Jeeze louise. We really don't have to do that.

I'll take the blame on this one. I read what Dj said earlier but I completely forgot to stop doing it. I promise it won't happen again.

LOL @ the ad for back pain that keeps popping up at the top.

A lot of us are just frustrated...it looks for all intents and purposes that we are stuck with a lemon. We've had a run of bad luck over the past few years and our highest draft pick since the '80s not seeing the floor, over a mysterious injury, has kicked up some strong statements and for good reason. This is bad.

Given how secretive the Knicks organization has been over Gallo, I think its fair to question his heart and the scouting job they did in coming to the conclusion to draft him and their reasons for doing so. We have a right to be paranoid, we just survived eight years of Bush.

I've seen players's hearts and IQ's questioned around here for a lot less than this, so all the Indignant Ivan's need to fall back.

No your wrong. It's Mobley who has a bad heart. Gallo has a bad back. I think your getting the two confused. Please try and keep up will ya'

Dude, I'm a very sweet guy. I already revealed to you guys that I wear Secret and whenver I take a girl to Burger King I ALWAYS pay half.

Why you coming at my neck over some limp-wristed cat from Italy. It sucks to be me.

I think we need to move on...These type of back injuries don't resolve themselves...Look at LJ, it changed his game all together...His skill set help changed him to a low post player but eventually was too much for him to play...

Hoops is a different game and all parts need to be running smoothly for you to be an effective player...It's a precise game where the slightest pain throws off your game completely...It doesn't look like he can play with pain...Livingston had a different injury but was never able to get on track...Bobby Hurly and Jay Williams couldn't do it...

It's a setback but the Knicks should hope for the best for him but make new plans going forward...If he shows up one day with game, gravy...

Uh oh, VMart. get ready for the "you're ignorant" blasts and the you "couldnt have graduated from junior high school" sort of talk. Gallo groupies are not having it.

Seb, I usually enjoy reading your posts but trash like that makes me think otherwise.

So because I question Gallo, which I feel is legitimate, I deserve to be personally insulted in other threads?

I have no idea what is going on in other threads, I only read what I read here, which was you throwing a blanket generalization over people having a conversation about the nature of Gallo's injury. I didn't expect that kind of thing from you. Oh well.

I know first hand that Seb is speaking the truth. I been on the end of it. Curry is hurt too but I don't think anyone is holding back discussing his shortcomings with this organization. If Portland fans can question Oden, I think it is safe to say that Knick fans can give pause when talking about Gallinari future in the NBA or did I miss the "Golden" memo?

I missed it too. Thats what I dont get. Most around here will throw around lazy tags and question IQ's like they are throwing around pennies, but talk about Gallo and they want to fight and get super emotional.

it's simple. the explanation re: gallo being out due to injury and medical advice and not due to being chicken or a bust is still the most apparent to most posters.

Coming at your neck? Come on man you are the one cat I've been trying to lighten up for about 2 years now. Hasn't worked, but I'm not giving up.

I got no problem with someone having doubts about Gallinari. There isn't a person West of Nixluva that doesn't have doubts. But we deal with it and move on. We don't flip out everytime the Post/Daily News decides to write an article about the guy. If he gets healthy, time will bring him back. Whining will not.
