I don't understand. We almost beat the Lakers in LA. We beat the Celtics convincingly at home. But we lose to the Timberwolves. The Knicks must play in some alternate universe.

yeah, if they had beaten the pacers and twolves, i'd feel much better about the team right now.

We also nearly blew a 30-point lead to the Thunder too. We have to deal with the Jekyll/Hyde aspect of this team for a while.

nice win..

do it with defense..

Chandler and Big Al led the way..

Lee with 14/14 won the battle in the paint..

Chandler outplayed garnett, when you can do that, you increase your chances of winning..

Rondo played the way I expected. Like garbage.. I can't stand that cat..

good win..

We need to build off this and beat the thunder..

celtics defense was so effective on AL late, that we had to go elsewhere. the results were team play, passing and 3 key baskets.... thanks boston..

I like the Jekyll/Hyde analogy. Anyway, all hail the mayor!!!

It's pretty safe to say that MikeD totally outcoached Doc Rivers tonight.

That was an awesome game. I couldn't get my hopes up ahead of time but enjoyed the full 48 minutes.
If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

I don't understand. We almost beat the Lakers in LA. We beat the Celtics convincingly at home. But we lose to the Timberwolves. The Knicks must play in some alternate universe.

Knicks teams have been doing that for the longest, even during the Starks/Ewing days... they always seem to play up to the level of their competition... in recent years they've obviously been a ton more inconsistent w/that but for the most part everytime this team rises up to play great basketball, it's often against the tougher teams in the NBA like DET, SA, UTA, BOS, LA, etc.

IMO it's lack of leadership from the best players on the team.

Great game!

Anytime you can hold Garnett to 6 and 9, you're doing something right. Chandler and Lee both did a very good job containing him.

Chandler has been fantastic the past few games, and to see him take it to Boston like that was terrific. There were a few times tonight where the offense was absolutely stagnant and decided to allow the 1 on 1, but otherwise D'Antoni coached a great game.

The interior D tonight was MUCH improved, especially after watching Rondo bend us over for uncontested layup after uncontested layup in Boston. However we did get lucky outside with Ray Ray going ice cold tonight. If he even hits a couple of those wide open 3's, this is a
completely different game.

I'm definitely proud of our Knicks tonight. At least for tonight, we can tell Boston to go **** themselves!
