Ill tell you what I at least expect: effort. This Knicks are still losers not because of their record, but because of their mentality. They have simply quitted after the Lakers game. Suddenly there is no trying, no run-and-gun, no decent defense, no organized offense. Blame D'Antoni all you want, but that time out only seconds into the 4th quarter was telling. Mike tells them what to do. At the beginning of the season, they did it and competed, now they don't even try, a sign of the losers mentality that we so desperately have to get rid of.

Down the road, the best will be to lose and get the best lottery pick. We should try to get picks in our next trades as its no longer important to get significant players to help us compete this season. Just keep developing the prospects, trade the contracts past 2010 and call it a season.
