Ahhh where have you been Action LOL!

Lurking in the shadows my sister w/the textbook drop step. This Knicks season has been so frustrating early on that I've been trying to play more ball instead of watching these guys & then arguing w/people (some... not all) who have no understanding of what it takes to play ball for real.

P.S. - how's your left

I feel you on the frustration its tough sometimes. Hearing the same mantra all the time from some fans "the Knicks suck lets tank for the number 1 pick".

Oh and my left is still even though im actually a righty but I'm stronger going left (yea I know very weird).

Cosmic the download cuts the fan off. You can't hear the fan say it.

How can that be? It sounds perfect to me. Both off hard drive and on stream. *confused*

You sure you're just not missing it?

Carter travels --- Cries --- then the fan "HEY CARTER....YOURE A BUM!" --- 2 seconds pass --- then the obligatory chick cuts in to close the clip.

*confused*

I havent deleted the clip so I can always offer a longer version tomorrow.....

Anyways, for those waiting, about to upload the game. Look for it in eh I dunno these things never take the same time. Less than an hour if it goes right.

ALSO - David Stern will be on Boomer's show tonight - to DISCUSS OUR KNICKS.

I'm gunna cap, and, upload (again unless something breaks, which does happen from time to time)

Basically when push comes to shove, when they win 35 games and get the 10th pick, I really don't want people to be all angry, huffing and puffing and yelling and all this crap. Just pointing this out.

What response is required? No one can refute what you said. And yet, no one has to live in your world. I think you've made one point entirely clear in all your posts what you're about. You probably don't even need to post words anymore. You could probably just post a really hot chick.. and we'd all know.. we'd know it was GKF calling us losers. And you know what, that doesn't sound so bad after all.

I just don't understand the thinking. You win 3 in a row and all that "fire Isiah" and everything goes down the drain. It's like you and the rest are HAPPY with mediocrity. If you are, then why are you complaining in the first place? Answer me that.

Where did i say i'm happy with mediocrity. Where did i say not to fire Isiah? I aint your straw man just because i'm engaging you in conversation. I'm telling you that your posts are nothing new. We all know this man. This season is ****ed already. We're in lotto land.

Now its about seeing who we're going to dump (winning 3 straight says volumes about how they feel about Marbury) and who is worth keeping and assessing trade value and all that. You don't build value with a team that loses 10 in a row i'm sorry if you think that way. Winning reinforces good habits and losing re-ingrains the bad. As long as we're sitting through this season and watching the games we like seeing development, even in games we lose like the games to SA and to HOU. Because we like to have good to talk about regarding our knicks we watch. You already said you don't watch. So in other words, you're just posting here to needle other knick fans who don't need to be reminded about lottery odds.

Really? And what about all these other years? How have these 30-win seasons reinforced winning habits? There is no difference between winning 33 and 23 games. The only difference is that with 23 you have a GREAT chance at getting a top pick and with a 33 win team you have a very BAD chance of getting a top pick. Winning 10 more games in a losing season doesn't mean anything. You're still bad, just not top 5 bad, which IMO is where we've been for YEARS.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

6 games out of the 8th spot !!! lol.

Come'on man....chill lol.

Presently: Nets = 8th seed = 18-20 = .473.

.473 over 82 games = 38.7 wins (Lets call it 39)

Knicks need to be 40-42 to claim the 8th seed in this scenario (to over take 39 wins).

We're 12-26.
We have to go 28-16.
That's a .636 win percentage.

So, yeah, lets cool it with the playoff hopeful talk for a while....it's not good for your mind to do that to yourself.

You really think so?? This isn't RealGM. People here know whats what. Thing is, you can't control wha tthe team does. If they lose, people will be pissed off. If they win, peiple don't really know how to feel.. but emotionally they're usually better off that night than if they saw their team lose. Its human nature. If you can't stand a little bit of positive posting then maybe you oughtta only check in when they lose. Guys here know the score. They know the games rigged. So you might as well take some enjoyment where you can. Beating the NETS and the BULS and teams that have good records like WAS and DET do help to lift the collective stink this team and our fans are under. Not much.. but there's your explanation. The emotional overrides the mental. Mentally... sure they should lose from here on out... but no one wants to follow a team that does that.

good post, but don't be fooled, there are a lot of people on realgm that wants the knicks to lose. I don't root for my team to lose, if they lose and that means we get closer to getting a derrick rose, then fine, but I don't like rooting for my team to lose... and I sure don't think it is cool to rag on people who like to see their team win. And for the record, I don't think there is a person a knick fan who beleives these wins means we are on our way to the finals.. So please enough with this crap of calling people homers or saying they don't "understand" if they are happy their team wins a game.... We all want the knicks to be good, we all know we need a franchise player. enough already.. damn...

Well, we've taken the season series from the Swamprats. That's something to smile about at least. :)

Even though he's not solely accountable, is the "Marbury Rule" taking effect right now? We'll see...

"New York Knicks" chant. Only in the swamps of Jersey does such pitifulness happen.

I was in the swamp for this game, and pretty sure it was a "New York Sucks" chant that got overpowered by all the Knicks fans still in the building.

Just be man (or woman) enough to admit you got slayed...That "God Kills Fans" was top ten in anybody's list of clever diss'es. I'll let you & Kam argue about the petty minutiae of the teams affairs but when we start playin the dozens (or ranking if that's what your generation calls it) then you better recognize a true player & just grab a seat on the bench.

P.S. - if you wanna rock a Marbury style towel with a matching scowl thats your choice.
