So codeunknown, how about you.

Isiah is fired and his players remain. Do you root for the team to win?

Codeunknown damn 5:40 AM you are posting me!
Papabear

Some of us perform emergency surgeries for a living. Emergenices happen at night. So, you can put the lube away because I wasn't up "posting you at 5:40 a.m." Enjoy your first Knicks game.

That's odd. Me too. Although I believe they won't start winning until they get rid of most of these current players.

And if they do, Isiah gets no credit.

So Code, did you root for the Knicks to win when Layden was the GM? or more to the point, when was the last time you rooted for the Knicks to win?

My recommendation is that, regardless of an ignore button or not, we police ourselves by considering terms like "hater," "lover," "homer," etc, as ad hominem attacks; same as calling someone azzhole, moron, etc.

They do nothing to further conversation of the Knicks, they are used solely to discredit the other poster's opinions.

I understand we've used them so much that they no longer sting, so it sounds like I'm overstating the case, but they're useless and burdensome labels used only to dumb down conversation.

Papabear Say

Blue seats knows that with an ignore button he will be nutrulized. a nothing, nobody, finished.
gotta go bye!!!
Papabear

SupremeCommander say,

That's not true. BlueSeats understand basketball more than most men. I signed up here at first because I heard he posted here from BigC.

Maybe all of us are the worst basketball posters ever, but you might wan t to reconsider your position.

I just wanted to say that I'm flabbergasted by the love and camaraderie on this thread.

It's great to see that despite our differences, when it comes to the Knicks, we can put that all behind us and come together as a board.

So, Isles, is it fair to say you aren't a fan of most of these current players?

Was that before the trade for Stephon Marbury, or some period afterwards?

BasketballJones, I'd like to retain your services.

Should I answer this question?

It's ok code. If he gets you to admit to something, just repeat this mantra:

Afterwards

So, you were OK with the Marbury trade? Lets say probably apprehensive but hoping for the best, right?

Was this because you thought Marbury would help the team win games right away, or was it because you thought his acquisition was the first step in a comprehensive rebuild plan?

Strongly against the Marbury trade. At the time, from a resource standpoint.

From a resource standpoint. Can you clarify that?

Do you mean that you think we gave up too much to acquire him?

Clarification: Surrounding Marbury with championship level talent in a reasonable time period would have been impossible with the dearth of assets remainng.
