August 21-26 - I'll be playing saxophone with John McNeil- a great trumpet player who played with Horace Silver, Thad Jones and Gerry Mulligan - he suffered from unbelievable physcial problems through the 80's and 90's which slowed down his career but is back playing great, and leading his first band at the V-guard at age 59. His whole story was told in a recent NYTimes article but it's on "Times Select" so it's not free- but this other review of him is here-

I heard jazz players are the real deal and usually go full monty, so watch out.

I'm glad I made UK infamy with my Ewing TShirt Expose, but it takes being at a UK gathering, a large fruity drink, and someone saying Patrick No-Ring over and over again for me strip down a layer of clothing in public- however I have been known to just outright wear knick stuff onstage. I might sport a pair of Starburys even- (priced for jazz musicians)

BTW what does Cossucks mean? A quick google search revealed some of your posts here and other places, and a lively chat on a Ukrainian board about cossacks -

More details please, holmes. What are your set times and what time should people show up if they wanna grab a good spot? Any cover? Drink minimum?

Rembee's contributions were classic in this thread but maybe we should actually start questioning the Talent. Maybe we don't have that much talent but I'll be disappointed yet not surprised if the team doesn't accomplish my 37 win season prediction.
