After year 1 the combo of Frye and Nate would've been taken by everyone over Bynum/Jack. After year 2 its starting too look the other way.

It's too early to be a mistake or a hit at this point.

MS - your narrow opinion of a player like Morris, yet to be given the opportunity to demonstrate what he can do on the floor, is garbage.

why not wait until he gets fully oriented before you start throwing dirt bombs at him?

sheesh

Can we remind everyone about 7 Channing Frye and 21 Nate Robinson, not going to be major players

When it should have been and this and what Granger/Bynum and Jack which is what a no guru like isiah would have done, and thats not hindsight.

Isiah believes he knows things that we don't, but in reality he has been good but not great with the knicks drafting players. This is a huge selection, and Morris is garbage I don't need to hear we already have a first round pick, because we don't

Tell us what you really think about Morris, don't hold back.

You are on the clock

MS - if you REALLY want to impress everyone with your superior basketball knowledge, with the 23rd pick, who are you selecting tonight?

Either Chandler or Morris or whoever the Zekester snags this draft, is he even gonna get to play?

Dude I don't know if you actually watched UK play but Morris is not all that impressive athletically which is something you really need at his position. He got to the line a few times but he is in space and wonders around a lot. He has limited focus and again is out of the curry mold, play the game because your big and can make money not play for love, always a dangerous player. I am wondering why more teams didn't jump for his services at the 1.2 million price for the two years if he is a first rounder.

I really think we need a player like Almond on the roster, he is a high percentage player and can get score, we need a spacer and he is going to get open shots which he will stroke. I like Dudley more than Chandler because he is a banger, but that does some different things inside. I would move nate for affalo to be honest just because solid defenders are hard to come by, and if nate doesn't undergo an attitude adjustment its a big problem.

Cook is a serious question mark, but if you are going to draft a player who can't crack isiahs impressive unit of talent, you might as well take a project at a position we don't have a future in

MS, to be fair the reason why so many other GMs didn't jump on him was because they really understand the rules. Billy Knight said he thought you had to wait until after the NCAA tournament and was very disappointed. Morris publicly stated that he was coming back to UK at the start of the tournament but when Tubby left, he had a change of heart that wasn't public. Credit Thomas sneaky ways for getting to him first. ESPN reported that 7 GMs didn't he even realize that he was a free agent and blamed the loophole. I don't think you will see that anymore.

I think Wilson Chandler is a smoke screen for Sean "Smokin'" Williams but I don't think he will be there at #23.

It's possible martin--Im trying to do the math here and if all three secondary bigs go before pick 23 i.e mcroberts smith williams a player that was rated much higher--maybe a thadeus young acie law morris almond type will be sitting at pick 23.

Man, I'd love to get Thaddeus Young.

That kid is going to be awesome, i think we could perhaps give nate and our pick to move up to get the kid, but to say other gms didn't understand the rules and mr lottery protection was on top of everything is hard to believe.
