That was one of the best games i've ever seen in terms of a team giving every ounce of effort they have. This whole series the Warriors have been simply outhustling the Mavs. It's just amazing.

I can't imagine how shocked Cuban is right now, cuz this is unbelievable. Baron is playing like a man possessed.

Ask yourself why don't the Knicks even come close to matching their effort.

if loosing last year to the Heat crushed them, how are they going to feel if GSW takes it on their home court?

Where is the thread we had on Dirk Vs. Bird?

It's because the Warriors Have Barron Davis and the knicks have StarBury....

Warriors slept walked for periods in this game jacking up threes and letting the Mavs out work them, but their STAR picked them up at the end of every single quarter. The knicks do not have that.

Dirk is soft and Baron Davisis the best player on the court!!!!!!!

the golden state warriors have the heart and guts of the "knicks of the west."

Wasn't nellie a knicks coach who got ran out of town by primadonnas know it all's pat ewing and jeff vandummy .

Nellie as headcoach with vandummy as knicks defensive coach would have been the right ticket, but y'all don't hear me doe

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

I have to say, Dallas is proving me wrong in this series. They're getting exposed. They're outmatched in the backcourt. On defense, they're missing some very important plays. For example, the Baron Davis half court three. There's NO reason why he should've been left open... serious defensive lapses. Furthermore, Dirk needs to take it to the rim more. It's the main thing he's doing wrong. He showed he can hit clutch shots when he hit those two late threes that gave the Mavs a chance with 3.2 left. And what the hell was Devin Harris doing? Josh Howard was WIDE open and instead Harris flings the ball half court to a GSW player who was heavily guarding Terry... game over. I would've liked to have seen had they managed to get the final shot to Dirk... Dirk had found his stroke in the last minute.

So far GSW 3 - Mavs 1, shocking the world. But I have to believe the Mavs at least take game 5. IMHO, if things go as I expect, GS *has* to win game 6 at home or they still have a pretty good shot to lose the series, because as well as they're playing, I have a tough time seeing Dallas lose at home again.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

And one more thing, Baron Davis is great. I'd love to see Dirk play with that kind of passion. I think game 5 will show us where Dirk is... I think Dirk either matches Baron Davis's fire in game 5... or the Mavs lose in possibly the biggest first round playoff upset in NBA history... and then the comparisons of the Mavs to the Seattle SuperSonics that got beat by the Nuggets begin.

best moments of the night:

1. Baron Davis' half court shot
2. Oakland crowd chanting "BULL-SHIT!" when Stackhouse was at the line after a foul on Baron Davis
3. Pietrus very nearly posterizing Stackhouse

What about Pietrus' follow up jam over 2 Mavs one of them being Dirk?

Hahahaha. Oh man. My girlfriend and I were both dying when they did that. Hilarious. I think we were both almost in tears.
