Dalembert is to defense and offense as Curry is to offense and defense. Combine the two, you have one overpaid player.

Only Yao can guard Curry one on one. That makes him a scarce commodity.

Rich was does that matter if they are playing team ball. Teams just zone on Curry and play tight d on Steph. Make the others beat you. I mean the book is out and it has been passed around the league. Only Curry doesn't seem to understand that and continues to hold on to ball for 1, 2, 3, 4 secs before he is trapped and either waits for a foul call or commits a turnover.

This team can't win without Lee and Craw. It's killed them. The effects have badly hurt Curry's ability to gain space.

You mean the same team that almost beat the best team in the league 5 days ago?

Because inconsistency with young teams is soooooo rare.

Curry is a monster in the paint when allowed to play one on one but what team that wants to win will allow the Knicks to do that now that they see what he developed into. So it is up to Thomas and Grunwald to put dependable shooters around Curry. Right now it is the same formula with these teams. Play zone, immediately double, triple Curry and stick with Marbury. Leave Jefferies, Balkman, and whoever open and let them try to shoot the ball. Of course without Crawford and Q the Knicks can't play effectively like that. So that is why they appear to play better without Curry because teams don't zone so much ala tonite when Curry goes out and it creates a lane for Balkman and Marbury.

To be honest, Frye is the main culprit because he should be feasting in those situations but he has forgotten how to shoot the ball.

Why couldn't Morris get into the game either?? Another post threat would have help some. One that can shoot face up as well.

Why bother?


We're not playing for the playoffs, we're playing for marketting excuses and such.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

You watch the games because it's YOUR TEAM. I just watched it on DVR and MAN was that frustrating to watch. We had a perfect opportunity and let it slip away. We just can't win with only 2 offensive players in Steph and Curry. Teams just take that away and let the other guys shoot. I would've loved to see this team playing with everyone at this time of year. I think we would DEFINITELY would've made the playoffs.

Heck even if we had just Jamal and Lee that would make a HUGE difference. Frye tho has been a huge disappointment. I just hope he can get his head together next year. We can't trade him playing like this. I LOVE Balkman and Collins tho. I really hope those two get together and workout over the summer. Develop their offensive games and their bodies and come back next year ready to get it done. They're just what I had hoped they'd be.
