The most important thing right now is getting these guys healthy and they have a few days off which should help. If Marbury gets hurt anymore than he already is...I dont even want to think about the mess this team will be. Q & Francis need get it together, they're vets too. Francis seems to make the dumbest most unneccessary fouls at the worst possible times..like a grown up Nate sometimes.

looking back at this game and the crazy shots that Ray and Rashard hit... I'm impressed that we stayed with them
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

The 2nd to last possession, Steph was going to shoot no matter what. The sonics knew he was shooting no matter what. They zoned him with 3 players, he let too much time run off the clock, then had to force the long 3. But that play didn't lose the game, we missed too many damm free throws.

I kinda want Ray Jesus in Knick colors now myself. He's the sniper that we need. Unfortunately he has the contract we DON'T need.

Francis also makes the most stupid decisions, he drives to the hole wrecklessly and then jumps and tries to pass the ball on a bailout. I hate when he does that, (a few times a game.)

The Knicks would have won ten moe games this season if they hit their free throw and cut down the turnovers..

You can say that about 2/3 of the NBA.

We turn the ball over at the highest rate in the league..Orlando is worst by .05 of a pt...We are sixth from the bottom in free throw percentage...True most teams in the NBA would have a better record but how many teams are almost leading the league in both those categories?

I agree that was a bad time for a heat check. Either way, like I said, no one else stepped up besides him on offense. And the fact that Earl Watson of all people was bombing treys on us is very unsettling.

From the small snippet I heard of isiah's press conference it sounds like his primary blame is going to missed free throws- not the least by Steph, but the overall poor percentage shot.

But isn't our biggest problem in fact poor perimeter defense? I don't know where we rank in FT%, but I did hear we're 26th in perimeter defense.

Is it possible that Isiah harps on the FTs because it's a subtle deflection of personal blame? IOW he directs the blame to the players themselves rather than his shortcoming at a GM at getting good defenders, or as coach for getting the guys to hustle to the perimeter.

I don't know, but personally I'd like to see us better at getting stops and not having to wonder who's gonna have a career night on us than raising our FT% every now and again.

Not to mention these awful starts which are becoming routine again.

I feel bad for Marbury.

We are basically back to what we had when we just traded for him, Marbury and not one person to be a reliable 2nd option.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

It's too bad the Knicks couldn't play another team missing it's best player.

tough loss, steph played like a star

curry and frye played like farts, although curry had the basket and block late.. he and frye stunk

Q needed to play better

Malik was great..

Ray allen takes the worst shots I have ever seen

Earl watson? 26% from 3 for the season 75% tonight!!

Rashard lewis, one dimensional jump shooting tall stiff.. I mean by now who didn't know all the guy does is hang around the 3 point line...

Bad loss....

You know how some guys, like Vince Carter, are known as good bad-shot shooters?

The Knicks seem to aspire to be good bad-game winners.

Can't you just see Vince doing some long, backwards falling 3-pt chuck with one leg kicked out? That's how we pay as a team - poor form, terrible judgment, but with just enough "Hail Mary" to possibly hit one to steal it at the end.

Jamal makes those FT’s…its undeniable! Steph was great but Eddy is suffering without JC (Curry is not himself at all). Q is not shooting or defending well, a clear sign of a bad back. And Francis vs Atlanta, well, it was a blip on the radar.

The GSW and Atl wins were good for us, but face it, they’re bad teams. Guys who are hitting from the perimeter like that are bad match-ups for us. Too bad both Seattle guys weren’t playing…that kind of game Nate and Jamal would’ve thrived in.

I think in the past three games you see we are not really a team on offense, maybe defensively, but we are perimeter oriented and dont pund the ball.

Its all Marbury on offense. He has been great. But Curry is not involved and Marbs assists are low. This is where we miss Jamal and Lee…both of them make a lot of plays whether it be rebounding, passing or creating. Because they are versatile and can run play in transition, they give us a very different look.

They've reverted back to being a Starbury team. Starbury gets his points and they might beat the Atlanta's and G.S.'s of the world but they have no chance against the better teams. And the Sonics aren't even that good.

The way teams are collapsing on Curry, and Frye struggles with confidence on the perimeter, it might not be a bad idea to up our tempo again. I think it would facilitate getting Frye and Curry better interior opportunities. I also think it better facilitates the athletic games of Lee, Balkman, Jeffries, etc.

I really think the missing element in that gameplan is the backcourt. Jamal is out, Q is hobbling, and I don't think Steph has the court vision or legs for it. In spite of the numerous PGs we have, we really need a VERY GOOD backup PG.

This is the point the media has been making for years, when frustrated he gets his and makes nobody around him better. Might be time for him to write on his starbury kicks..... I BALL ALONE

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

who does he have to work with?

i love how there are certain people who post throughout the game on the game post, watching the plays and analyzing them, and then these two idiots (isles, playa) come on after the game and make it seem as if marbury had anything to work with.

who's he gonna pass to? malik rose? a 6-6 PF? how about jared FING jeffries?

andrew, martin, anyway i can block any post made by playa or isles?

Oh come on! starbury was supposed to win this game. He was supposed to lead us to the promised land. He blew it! Simple as that.
I'll never trust this' team again.

So all of a sudden Curry isn't worth working with and Starbury is doing it all alone?

How about last year's lottery pick? Ok you're right, he is useless.

I see starbury was playing total hog ball tonight again. 40 points, but only 3 assists. Yeah, Crawford goes on the injured list and starbury's back to his old ways.

I also see no defense again, when you got three sonics scoring 23 or more points against this team.

And how about our lousy free throw shooting as a team! 63%?

Frye and Jeffries are a total waste.

And I see that Balkman is starting to get the Lee treatment also. 8 Minutes played?

I want to see the Zeke backers come defend this junk!
I'll never trust this' team again.
